You can use one of these in conjunction with an Apple USB C cable, as I do. With my mouse key, I have the charging cable and one of these USB C to USB Adapters. It hasn't been an issue because my MacBook Pro has four USB C ports. I feel compelled to point out that Apple's USB C was a terrible idea!
Since the MacBook Air 2020 has a USB-C port, it's a good time to upgrade. The adapters will work fine with C connectors.
In terms of functions for any device, a minor point to remember is that if you use a protector, the device will not make contact because it is obstructing the path.
I'm hoping the manufacturer adds something to this, but since it's an adapter, it draws the same amount of power as a regular USB 2 or 3 port. converting a c cable to a standard USB port I've used it to charge a case battery bank, Bose headphones, and my iPhone with no problems. I've had this device for over a year.

Neither of them were successful. I attempted to contact the seller but received no response. I put these to the test on my Mac Air. One would light up, but I couldn't move the arrow, and it wouldn't click or select, while the other didn't work at all. Before complaining, the seller should be contacted, according to the note in the box. I sent a message via email. Brian responded by advising me to make sure I pushed it all the way in. Check to see if the "driver" has been installed. There isn't a driver, I said. It's a wireless, so all you have to do is plug it in to get it to work. Both of these were tested in two ports that were confirmed to be operational. Brian has not responded to three emails in a row. I switched brands and everything is working fine; I also explained that I'm elderly and living alone and didn't want to send this to Amazon for a $7 purchase, and that I needed these right away. As a result, I'm disappointed that these didn't work and that the seller didn't handle the situation properly. Simply send out another box of these as soon as possible.
My phone now charges in half the time it would take if I used a standard USB charger. This USB adapter is also small, sturdy, and adaptable.
DOA is one of two possible outcomes. 3/23 I just got my MBook Pro, and the first thing I noticed was that two of them would not fit next to each other. See pic. br>br>However, the iBlason case I use on my MBook does not cause any issues. I'll keep you updated if there are any more problems. br>br>3/25 One of them was DOA. Returned.
(1/2021 - Update after six months: These are still in excellent condition, and I recently ordered another pair for a webcam and an external hard drive that I had recently purchased. There have been no problems in the last six months. They could be a little slimmer, but I still stand by my June 2020 review. )br>br>Fantastic MacBook Pro 2020 minimal USB solution! br>br>I upgraded from a 2015 MacBook Pro to a 2020 MacBook Pro recently. All of my ports, except USB C (Thunderbolt), were lost as a result of this change. br>br>Anticipating the need for all of those ports once more, I purchased a $60 multi media hub, which caused my wireless mouse and keyboard to lag on my external monitor. Initially, I thought my wireless devices had become buggy or defective, but that was before I tried this small Nonda USB port. br>br>After 24 hours of use, the Nonda USB delivers without lag on both my wireless Logi keyboard and wireless Logi Mx master mouse! I am overjoyed! Can't beat the price, but I wish you could connect two together (too wide) and the Space Gray was more accurate in color (see photo). The Anker Hub is being returned. br>br>I'd recommend keeping any USB receiver in close proximity to your wireless devices! (If your mouse and keyboard are on the right side of your laptop, you'll need a USB adapter. ) I tried using my laptop's mouse on the left side with the Nonda adapter on the right, and it worked perfectly!.
Apple has a reputation for getting rid of things before we're ready to let go of them. My new MacBook is connected to a number of devices, all of which are USB. However, Apple has decided to phase out USB, so we'll have to wait until we upgrade and get all new devices to use things like this. which I will resist. br>br>These are fantastic because they allow me to use my USB hard drives. There are only two flaws: the USB part sticks out a little on the end, making the connector appear to be falling out, and they should be a little deeper. It's just a matter of making both pieces a little more substantial. The other issue is that because it's USB, it's wider, so you can't use two of them at the same time. You might be able to use two of them in neighboring ports if they had placed the Thunderbolt connector on the far right or left instead of in the middle. However, you will lose a port if you use these as is. It's not a big deal for me because I have a USB port hub on the other side of my laptop, but this is something they should have discovered during the engineering phase and made it so you could use two side by side. br>br>I still recommend them because they're handy to have when you just need to use a USB device quickly. Now, let's see how long it takes before Apple gets rid of Thunderbolt plugs and we have to switch to yet another technology.
The quality of these USB-drives blew me away. Adapters with the letter C. They perform admirably and are appealing to the eye. Note: On a Mac Book Pro, you can't put both of them side by side because they don't fit. However, one can still be placed on the opposite side!.
I thought these were fantastic (to the point where I purchased a second pair before realizing what was going on). I placed an order for them at the same time as I placed an order for an "Apple MJ1M2AM/A USB-C to USB-C to USB-C to USB-C to USB-C to USB-C to USB C to USB Adapter" (all of these are for my Macbook Pro 2019). To cut a long story short, I underestimated how much the power difference between these two types of adapters could be. If you need something other than a thumb drive or a computer mouse USB transmitter, this might be too weak. This is how it went down: br>br>I used an ethernet cable to connect to this Nonda adapter, and a speed test revealed that my wifi download speeds were around 72. 76 Mbps (as shown in the image). My colleague was getting speeds of over 100, so that couldn't be the correct speed. When I switched to the Apple adapter, another speed test revealed 119. 00 Mbps. The Apple dongle is clearly designed this way (see third image, white adapter is Apple, next to silver Nonda) because the cord aids in power transfer. That is something I was unaware of, but it appears to be common knowledge among others. br>br>Now I know that I should only use these Nonda dongles for small things like thumb drive files and my computer mouse USB. I'll use the apple one when I need to plug in my microphone, charge my phone, or connect to the internet (all of which require more power). I recently purchased the "LENTION USB C to 3 USB 2. 0 Ports Hub with RJ45 Ethernet LAN Adapter," which I'll keep at my office because it claims to be extremely powerful, with high-speed ethernet capability and three USB ports, all for $15! Solid. So, we'll see if it lives up to its promises. P. br>br>P. br>br>P. br>br>P. Why, oh why, Apple, did you not include at least one USB port on these new laptops? That was a major blunder by you. However, I suppose I should thank you for the good dongle.
