The health of the batt appears to be very good. Works fine on the 5480br>Battery health under Dell Command Power Manager shows "excellent"br>I'll update the review if anything else comes up.
I couldn't wait until I got home from work to order replacement batteries, so I went ahead and bought one for myself.
My work computer's battery had swelled, and I needed a replacement. The new one does exactly what it should. It's better if you don't notice it; you'll notice it only when there's a problem. Charged right away. The purchase was a great success.
So far, everything has gone well. Except for the dozen or so screws that had to be removed from the laptop case, it was fairly simple to put together. So far, the battery life has been excellent.
