I've had no issues with the battery, and I get 8 hours of use out of it. It has a 9-hour battery life. The capacity of my battery was significantly higher than that of the original Apple battery. There isn't much to say about the battery except that it does exactly what it says. My Macbook Pro 2015 13-inch Retina A1502 fits the battery perfectly. The adhesive on the battery's underside appears to be holding it in place well. I recommend'slicing' through the factory Apple battery adhesive with a fishing line attached to two keyring hooks and cleaning the old adhesive with isopropyl alcohol or an adhesive remover for installation. It took about 40 minutes to complete the installation. br>br>I would strongly recommend this battery to anyone looking to replace an old, worn-out battery. their MacBook Pro's battery is dead.

As a replacement, I bought this kit. This replacement battery kit, which includes two screwdrivers and a replacement battery, is an excellent value for the money. It's worth noting that the screws for the back cover require a second pentalobe screwdriver. The replacement was complicated by the apple adhesive process, which I followed with an ifixit kit. The battery replacement kit, on the other hand, performed admirably. Interior screws could be driven with the screwdrivers. My new battery has a higher capacity than the original and lasts about 10 hours!.

My MacBook Pro was no longer turning on. This battery was purchased and proved to be excellent. When it comes to removing the old battery, here's a tip. To make the batteries easier to release, use a hair dryer to warm them up. If you're not careful, your touchpad may be damaged. When you're in the middle, where the trackpad is, be cautious.

The battery is in good condition. Replacing this item will be moderately difficult. There are several YouTube videos that show how to remove and replace the battery properly. To dissolve the adhesive tape that was holding the old battery in place, I used goo gone with a dropper. Remove the trackpad cable with caution, as it is easily broken. After replacing the battery, my trackpad and keyboard stopped working, and I discovered that it was due to a damaged trackpad cable that I had accidentally damaged. Fortunately, Amazon has it for $9. The computer is now in excellent condition.

The most time-consuming part of the process is removing the old battery and cleaning up the battery bay due to adhesive; this kit does not include adhesive remover, so you'll need to get a syringe or other means of getting adhesive remover underneath the battery, as well as a flat plastic tool to remove the battery. Also, unlike the original Mac battery, this battery does not have four small pads at the corners of the battery frame. Don't be concerned or try to move them; they aren't required. br>br>When I completed the initial installation, the battery was not recognized or charging, so I assumed it was a defective battery and contacted Amazon, who put me in touch with Ray Hom. Excellent response and direct communication with Ray Hom on this, and they were working to get me a replacement as soon as possible. I didn't want to reinstall, so I looked into other options. I found someone who had solved a similar problem by disconnecting (not removing) the battery, pressing the power button for 5 seconds, then reconnecting, and it worked, which was a huge relief. I am very pleased with the battery; it was recognized, charged, and appears to be holding up well; I saved $250 by investing a few hours, and I would not hesitate to purchase it again. Get this battery (which comes with screwdrivers), as well as an adhesive remover and a plastic scrapper, and be prepared to spend some time removing the battery and cleaning up the adhesive. Don't be intimidated; you can do it!.

My MacBook Pro 13" is a Late 2013 A1502 model. br>br>After a few days, the replacement battery appears to last about 6 hours; I believe the OEM battery lasted 8 or 9 hours, but this is significantly better than the 1. With the worn-out battery, I was only getting 5 hours. I haven't yet done any testing on standby time. I'm curious if the older computer is now running hotter, implying that the battery is being depleted by more fan time. Is it possible that the battery has shrunk in size? br>br>As a result, the battery does not come with the little rubber grommets that came with the original battery. The battery in the original computer had five points where it could be screwed in, but only one. Because it was nearly impossible to replace the rubber grommets, I installed without them. br>br>I used a combination of Youtube videos and the iFixit website to remove the old battery; instead of using solvent or heat, I used dental floss. I used Goof Off from Home Depot to clean up the old adhesive, but next time I'll use fishing line or thicker dental floss. My floss was constantly breaking, but getting more was not a big deal. To get more leverage, I wrapped floss around the special screwdriver shafts. I wish they would skip the adhesive and instead install a spacer, such as a piece of rubber or cardboard, and use all five screw holes to secure the battery. That's something I'm thinking about doing the next time.
