My laptop is connected to a docking station, and the battery is no longer holding a charge after two months.
Not New. The machine has stopped working. On July 18th, I bought this battery, and two months later, it stopped charging completely. I looked at the battery life history and discovered that this battery isn't brand new. Check the battery life as soon as possible after purchasing in case you need to return it.
In December of 2020, I bought this battery. Now it's October 2021, and my laptop's battery only works when it's plugged in. The laptop IMMEDIATELY shuts off if I unplug it, despite the battery showing as 100% charged. The laptop will not turn on unless it is plugged in. This purchase has left me extremely disappointed.
I ordered this battery for a work laptop but received the wrong part; I kept the battery because we have a lot of laptops that need batteries all the time. A month later, when we needed a new battery for another laptop, the battery refused to charge. The return window had already closed by that point.
The HP Probook 640 G2 is a perfect match. Because the battery does not come with screws, you'll have to use the ones from the battery you're replacing (which may be captive screws). After you swap the batteries in my laptop, there are no additional steps; it immediately starts up and functions.
This battery performed admirably in my HP Probook application at a fraction of the price of the original. I haven't fully tested the battery life yet, but I've had no problems so far. You'll need to reuse the OE battery screws, so keep them safe. The delivery was quick.
It's performing admirably; I am as pleased as the customer.
It was easy to put together and fit perfectly. Only about 5% of the population With cable pug in, it takes 10 minutes to fully charge.
