In less than a month, there were problems with the charging system

My Inspiron 5000 series laptop began flashing orange/white after about 25 days of use, indicating a problem with the charging system. I also detect a faint odor of "hot electronics. " "br>br>I'm exchanging it for another and will report back if I have better luck. br>br>I meticulously followed all of the calibration instructions that came with the package. br>It's cheap, but I'm not sure how good the quality is.
