The initial statistics appear to be promising. It has a little more capacity than stated, which is always a plus. It lasted 5 months before dying. The battery is dead after 5 months and 56 charge cycles. I accidentally discharged the battery to 5% and that killed it. I've been looking for a good battery for my old 2012 macbook pro for a long time, but most of the ones I've bought before couldn't last more than 5 minutes without overheating the computer. This one is pretty good (it lasts about an hour off the plug right now, but it still overheats the computer a little). In any case, if you need a new battery, give this one a shot.

The battery is in excellent condition. If you want to calibrate the battery properly, I recommend following the simple but detailed instructions that come with it. This is essential if you want to get the most out of it. In a few months, I'll revisit this review to see how long it lasts. So far, I'm pleased with what I've received.

This battery replaces the original in almost every way. The case is not completely flush because it is slightly thicker (by slight I mean 1/64" or less). Not enough to give a damn about it. The battery life is excellent. br>br> The computer's error message has vanished.
