Are external hard drives primarily used for backup? External drives can't be used in conjunction with internal drives to provide total storage on the NAS?

I'm not sure, but I believe you could use an external mount table to mount them. I used three TS 112 to create a raid 2 or 5 with only one internal HD. br>However, a better answer can be found in the private qnap forum. The qpkg app can be found there. br>After that, you can run a bash or c she'll command. br>The mounting table is easily accessible under Linux or this qnapUnix. You have the option to change anything there.
