It does not have a fan. I suppose you could put a fan in there or install one. It's a big place.
The punchline is: When measured against the raw metal, the outs are about 2" in diameter; when the rubber grommet is added, it shrinks a few millimeters.
As far as I recall, it's a standard 19" rack, so all you have to do is double-check the depth of the shelf.
No, only the front locking door and wiring holes (with rubber grommets) are included.

I wanted to keep some of my home theater and network equipment contained rather than strewn about with cables. This was the perfect solution, and it also looks fantastic. My electronics are powered by a wireless router, surge protector, hdmi switch and splitter, an audio extractor, and a couple of power bricks. The door is reversible, which is convenient because I wanted to mount an LCD monitor next to it and needed the door to open in the opposite direction.
I placed an order for the Electriduct 2U Wall Mount Rack Enclosure Network Cabinet - Black. (New Model) Solid Door 2 pieces per pack The cabinets were well-protected by their packaging, and there were no shipping "dings" when they arrived. "br>I needed a cost-effective way to house two small patch panels in my office, and this was perfect! I wish the steel was a little thicker, but I was looking for value. The wall-mounted cabinets work flawlessly, lock easily, and conceal my tangle of cables perfectly. If you're thinking about buying one, keep in mind that the keyed lock serves more as a latch to keep the door closed than as a lock. If you need something that is really secure and can withstand forced attempts, you'll have to spend a lot more money on something else. I hope this has been of assistance.
You can put your finger under the CLOSED door because it is so thin and flimsy. You can simply rip this door off with another finger, so this lock is purely for entertainment purposes.
We thought you shipped it with the keys locked inside, but after we drilled out the back, we discovered there were no keys in the hardware bag.
This was used in a public location to secure an HPE switch. The screw holes are already pre-drilled. I needed washers to prevent the screw head from going through the hole because the drilled holes were rather large. Because I didn't have any washers, I used a small paper clip to fill each hole. It was a success. Attaching brackets in the box may appear to be a tight squeeze, but it isn't. Remove the four bolts that hold the brackets in place, then attach your rack nuts and your device. Place the device and brackets in the box after they've been mounted, and reattach with the nuts and bolts that came with it. Because of the wire punch-out, I'm only giving it four stars. Without bending the box or using a dremel, punching outs is virtually impossible.
I bought two of these and was able to fit a 16 port switch and a small patch panel inside, and I'm about to purchase two 3in USB powered fans to mount on the inside, as well as a POE to USB converter, because my switch is currently running at 71 degrees Celsius. Overall, I am pleased with how it turned out, and I am confident that there will be no room for anything else once the cooling fans are installed.
I drilled 2" holes in the back to allow access from the back. br>br>If you're using it at home, you can add patch panels to the top and bottom.
Shipped quickly and exactly as described. Great product. br>br>**Just a heads up, the keys are hidden inside the outer wrapper. (In case you're having trouble locating them).
