After installing the swing arm in my AV room at a height of nearly 6 feet, I mounted my rack. It took some effort and ingenuity for me to mount it in a 30" wide room by myself, but it looks great. It also swings out to allow easy access to the cabling while operating the AV components with millimeters to spare! This project is very rewarding because it has a very sturdy unit and clear instructions.
Some of my home AV equipment was stored in the basement using the EchoGear rack. I had two options for getting access to the cabling when it came time to finish the basement.

The ability to "open" the cabinet using the hinge, which I mounted over the top of a built-in wiring hub, is absolutely invaluable. Because the overall rack is extremely heavy, having a helper on hand to sink the first couple of screws in the wall is highly recommended. duty as well as heavy duty!.
I no longer have to be concerned because of this mount! I'll admit that there was some confusion because I received a 20U rack when I ordered this, requested what I ordered, and then received another rack. So once you have it, it's fantastic!.
It's simple to put together and makes accessing the cabinet's backside a breeze.
To complete the installation, you will require all of the following hardware. Very well made, and the profile fits the 15" rack perfectly. Very simple to set up and maintain, as well as extremely strong and durable.
