I rarely write reviews, but after buying this for $169 and not being able to use it, I thought I might as well. The device is supposed to be configured through Bluetooth, but the Bluetooth didn't work out of the box. To find out that it needed a Firmware update I had to do it myself A lot of their information is insufficient and their documentation is non-existent. As a result of a firmware update, I was able to set it up using my wife's iPhone since its Samsung counterpart would not connect. I now have the ability to upload photos to both Samsung and iPhone and set my Samsung up with contacts The Android app shows the device as visible and able to upload photos and videos, but as soon as the app opens, I receive a message containing the words "Can't connect to the Mac Desktop App also does the same thing. Although I support invention and innovation, I believe there is a responsibility to the consumer. The update is In response to my request for support and complaint, the tech team and company executives reached out to me and aimed to resolve the issue. It blew me away. It will be interesting to see in a couple of.
A new update can be found here. There have been a lot of problems with this product. On the phone, I have talked to at least two different tech people for over four hours. There is no automatic or easy way to set up. The entire collection of photos has not been downloaded yet. As far as I can tell, there is no way to accomplish I have a complete mess of photos now, and I'm not sure how to organize them. It doesn't require anything more than a photo app, a cloud and an external disk drive to work, so just be content with what you've got. * Update * A fifth hour spent on the phone with their tech-support person was up in the air Many of the problems with the support system have been resolved. As of this moment, this sounds like a very useful device. I am grateful for all the support I received from TechSupport. There is no longer any hope for the thing. The situation has really only been troublesome. When I was in the last round of the Monument, I was advised to do a disk first aid on my external drive. That worked for me and I was able to use my external hard drive. In any case, I was informed by Monument "support" that my external drive, which was working perfectly, was the issue. Unfortunately, there was no further assistance and the company seemed completely uninterested. This is a piece of junk and you will have trouble if you have not already done so. Fortunately, as a result of the setting up process, every photo I had on my Mac is now also on the external hard drive. It's great that you're doing that. Yet, the monument is a bunch of junk, to put it politely.
This has been my go to app for about a month now. You're the best. The photos I had backed up previously came from iCloud. It was the multi-faceted nature of Monument that made me try it All my data is on my personal storage, and I can support my users. I use this product to manage my photos very well. There are more than 60 of them. There are more than a thousand photos stored on the device. It will be interesting to see what this startup does in the future. The Pros 1. Photos are imported from two smartphones we have (mine and my wife's), as well as our DSLR. A RAW file format is also supported. 1. 2. A multi-faceted approach Provides support to the users.
3. As a storage medium, external USB drives are often used. There is no doubt in my mind that I have everything at my disposal. 4
The desktop app allows me to upload photos from my computer. Five points. A regular schedule of updates and new features is provided by CONS
1. I would like to see improvements to the desktop app. There is a planned feature for it, according to support. 1. 2. It takes the device some time to analyze new content. If you're importing a huge collection, this may take some time.
3. Internet Wi-Fi There are two Wi-Fi connections. This product has exceeded my expectations in every way. It works on 4GHz only, but you can use it over a wire if speed is important

Purchasing this product was a way for my wife and I to organize our photos better. Our first experience was rather unpleasant, so we called the Monument Support Team and they guided me through my difficulties and I can't express how pleased I am today I have a wife who takes loads of photos with her iPhone. Whenever she is connected to wifi, it copies all of our new photos to her hard drive at home and then it copies them to a backup hard drive. It automatically sorts them by date, location, people, My phone would then have access to both of our photos from anywhere in the world just by opening the Monument app. I could have years and years of photos stored on my phone without having to do so. Greetings from Asia. We just returned from a 6-week trip to Asia.
Thank you for your excellent products. Every time I and my wife had internet access, we both took photos and they were backed up automatically. I liked knowing that all our photos were on a hard drive at home, backed up on a different hard drive should our phone be lost. This was a good way to protect ourselves against losing all our Product is excellent and the tech support team is very helpful.
Our organization has found this to be a great solution. In addition to backing up our cameras' SD cards after a photoshoot, we use it to back up our photos as well. Come in and just plug in the cards one by one into the drive. Then all the pictures (JPG and RAW) are copied over to the drive. No more dragging out the computer and copying them to the drive for safekeeping or editing. After the cards have been copied, we can go through the photos on a tablet and give them a quick once over before starting on the editing process. These are must-haves for photographers, in my opinion. Even if you only want to use it to make a backup for your backup, the program will fit your workflow. You will not find it if it is not present There is no such thing as it.
