It is very important for me to wear shorts that won't make other mothers at school pick up clutch their pearls and whisper how short my shorts are. These shorts fit the bill. Their modesty without making them appear to be Mom shorts is sufficient. It is the Mariposa Road color that I ordered. For someone who has my body type, denim shorts are impossible to find. I haven't found anything better yet, but they're the best I can find. I was in the market for new ones. As a 5'2 170lb woman, I was a bit apprehensive about ordering a size 10, but they fit perfectly, hug me in the best way, and the leg length is perfect for me. There is no need to worry about showing too much or too little thigh. As soon as you wear them, they will not ride up. Despite dropping sizes, I've continued to love these and will buy again in the near future.
The shorts fit really well at the waist, but I find that they are too tight in other areas. I have thick thighs and a butt thanks to the gym, and these shorts don't fit nicely The butt I worked so hard on does not need to be squashed by my shorts. It looks like I'll have to return them.
