I used the Amazon measuring guide to find the size that was the closest to my measurements, and it is perfect. Because this was my first online shorts purchase, I was concerned. One thing that irritates me is how small the front pockets are. I can't fit my phone or iPod in there, and I usually keep my id card/key card in my pockets, which I can only fit in sideways, so there's not much room. Although the back pockets are standard in size, I rarely use them. However, I am satisfied with my purchase overall. If you're worried about not fitting into the Petite because you're not petite, just follow the measuring instructions carefully and it should fit.
These shorts were described as running one size large in reviews. I don't believe so. At least one-third of the time, they're on the move. a size or two too small These 14s didn't even come up to my hips, and I'm a size 14. Isn't it possible that they were labeled incorrectly? It's a good thing there's a no-questions-asked return policy.
