This pair of Bermuda shorts is my favorite. They have a bit of stretch and are very comfortable, yet they stay in shape after I wear them a while. I really like the "high rise" so they stay in place around my waist. If you have bigger thighs, you can unsnap the snaps on the leg.

You can wear this if your hips are large

Is fine for some women, but if you don't have large hips, you should avoid it. It is not going to look good in these shorts. The hip fatty pads are cut as a result of the cut.

These are a bit tight, ordered my size

It fits me, but the waist cuts into your waist, and I do have a waist. Does that make sense? If I purchased a 12, they would have fit me better, but as some others have noted, the waist cuts into your waist. You might get sore if you sit down but from stretching you might be able to get better? There is a good length on these, covering the 50 well. I'm a twenty-something who is not dressed like an old lady! It might be best for me to buy a 14 and see how they The 14 is a size that would be better for me given that I never wear baggy shorts, so I hope that it will fit securely. Let's see what happens, I will try to update my review after receiving.

The Bermuda shorts look good, are comfortable, and are made from good materials! It has a nice stretch to it, and it is a nice jeans material

perfectly, only the waist is a bit tight, but as you wear them you find that they loosen up. When you want shorts instead of capris, it's a good length for women my age (64) to wear. You should wash and wear jeans like regular.

It was disappointing

I was disappointed with these results. Amanda jeans are exactly right for me, and the fit is perfect. I couldn't figure out why these shorts were cut like that. A pair of saddle bags for someone serious about their riding. Size 10 and equally proportioned, I am 5'4" and weigh 154 pounds. It was necessary to return them.
