Hello, I'd recommend a small, possibly an extra small, depending on the size of your waist, as you appear to be quite petite. I'm 5'5' and 175 pounds. I got a medium, which fits perfectly and has plenty of room to tighten.
No, if you want to improve your posture or feel more comfortable in that area, you can wear it.
Xl ought to suffice.

It's even suitable for working out in. I'd like anyone reading this to keep in mind that when you're first starting out, you shouldn't make it too tight. I made that mistake and was very sore for a while after I had to adjust, and for those with a gut, "ahem like me," it may be a tad small length wise, the only drawback. I'm 5'5" tall, weigh 190 pounds, and have a 42" waist circumference, size 12. If it helps anyone, I'm a 14 in jeans and an XL fits perfectly around me.
It's a definite yes from me! It does exactly what it claims to do and looks exactly like the picture. With this one, you get precisely what you expect. It was well worth the expense. P. br>br>P. br>br>P. br>br>P. On the photo I've attached, my cat is giving it a standing ovation.
If you have a long torso, this isn't an option. I'm 5'6" and usually wear a size 12 in women's clothing, so I went with the large. It does a good job of wrapping itself around - It also makes you sweat a little - However, I wish it were larger (rather than longer) so that it would cover more of my torso. It's almost as if I have to pick between covering the top half and the bottom half. This is probably fine if you have a normal torso, but if you have a longer torso - one in particular that will assist in suckling in a lower tummy - It might be difficult to find the ideal location to wear this.
The day after I received it, I wore it to work for the whole day (10 hours). I work in a physically demanding, hot environment and expected to sweat much more than I did. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to wear it for the duration of my shift. This isn't as bulky as my waist trainer, which doesn't encourage sweating. That appeals to me. The exterior is made of a soft material. It gives you the best possible posture. loll It didn't get uncomfortable until the very last minute of the day. I'm talking about the very last part. My side hurt all of a sudden, and it didn't move (at least not for me), so I had no idea what was going on. The red area (4th photo) became visible after I removed it. It scabbed over the next day after cutting my skin. It isn't a major flaw, but it should probably be avoided for extended periods of time. br>br>Included in the last two photos: I tried to convey how much sweat I was producing while wearing it. In comparison to my stomach, my back sweats a lot more. However, wiping it down with a paper towel revealed a LOT more sweat than I had anticipated. br>br>I'll wear it again when I run errands and clean around the house to see how the experience differs, if it differs at all. It might be more effective if used for a short period of time.
I was hesitant to order this item because it's difficult to tell if it'll be of good quality based on the pictures alone, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's durable, light, and simple to operate. It was well worth the money.
I tried those front-clip corsets, and while they helped, they were extremely uncomfortable. I am 5' 6" and purchased the XXL in this one. 5" tall with a weight of 270 pounds. My shirt size is usually XXL. PURCHASE YOUR NORMAL SIZE FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS. I've seen a lot of reviews where people purchase one that is far too small to fit properly. They make it to fit your size while still keeping you contained. Anyway. Because my lower stomach is larger than the area right under my breasts, I got the one with three straps and I love being able to control how each area of my body holds in. The only thing that irritates me is that the straps shift and move around and need to be repositioned. This, however, is simple to accomplish without undoing them. I almost forgot I was wearing this corset because it is so comfortable. The inside material is also very cool because it heats up your stomach (not your entire body, just your stomach) while also keeping it in place. You can't beat the price, either; I paid $40 for a clip one that I immediately returned after trying this one on. This also improved my posture, so it's a win-win situation!.
