For me, it took approximately 2 weeks. I was shocked when I realized I had regained my hourglass figure in just two weeks. I'm glad my mother was born in a country where getting all strapped up tight after giving birth was the norm; otherwise, I would have never looked into these! The science of the "snap back" was revealed to me - Which, to be honest, I assumed would take a year because it took 9 months for my belly to grow in the first place, and I eat healthy whole foods, drink plenty of water, and live an active lifestyle, so it wasn't a major concern for me - However, doing so IMMEDIATELY for the first 6 weeks is crucial. Getting strapped up all day (and night if you can stand it) exclusively breastfeeding signals to the body, "baby has exited, shrink up that uterus until next time!"br>br>I only deducted one star because I felt the belly belt in particular stretched out rather quickly (about 3-inches). We've been at it for four weeks. I already had my waist and my belly was crazy shrunken with no loose skin (massaging in circular motion clock and counter clockwise with an oil aids in this), but it could still be flatter, so I kept going and it ensured my abdominal muscles were coming back together fully)br>br>I mitigated this by sewing up the belly strap shorter by a good 3-inch. 4" and cutting off the excess so I could keep using it once it had stretched out to the point where it couldn't strap down to me any longer. br>br>The waist/back support worked well, and all three parts are easily adjustable. It's also not nearly as big as it appears in the picture! It's like getting a warm and friendly hug. At first, I didn't wear skin-tight tops; instead, I wore regular t-shirts, loose tank tops, and blouses, and it was completely hidden beneath them. They're incredibly relaxing to wear. Finally, the pelvic piece was EXTREMELY important! For a while, my hips felt loose and sore, especially if I slept on my side, but wearing these at night prevents the pain from happening in the first place. I had completely flattened out by the time I was six weeks old. I feel completely normal at 3 months postpartum, including my hips, but it still feels good to sleep with the pelvic belt on. It's surreal, and it's a lot faster than my - as it appears- 12 months was the naive expectation! (As a point of reference, I was 32 before I got pregnant. ) 23"- I used to be 33" and now I'm 35"- 25"- 36")br>br>Btw, the quality is better than what my husband received at the hospital for his sports-induced hip surgery; all three parts are breathable, and as tall people who lead active lives, I'm sure they'll come in handy for back support for either of us, since they're reinforced with some flexible boning (I'm assuming acrylic; it doesn't feel like steel boning from "traditional" underbust corsets). Which, by the way, is a great next step for waist training if you've exhausted these and want to gradually define your curves)br>br>Hope this helps other mamas.
)br>After a friend asked if I was wearing any postpartum girders, I decided to give this one a try because of the low price and positive reviews. I'm glad I took the initiative. It comes in three pieces, allowing you to use it in a variety of ways, and it is made of high-quality materials. It's something I highly recommend!.
This item is extremely durable. It provides excellent support, but the comfort level is a 4 because it digs into my back after a while. It's even thin enough to be worn underneath my clothes. When I'm wearing it, I don't feel much pain. The solution is effective.
I thought I'd found the perfect binder for my post-tummy tuck surgery until about a week after the procedure. I couldn't wear it because the bones bent and curled so badly. Very let down.
This is the one I kept because it was the most versatile when it came to adjusting the size; I love being able to tighten and loosen the added support bands on the fly rather than having to take the whole wrap off to adjust! For me, since I am using it for my TAH (I am a week post-op), I have found wearing the belly band backwards to be extremely helpful and comfortable!.
I really liked this product; it's definitely one size fits most because it's adjustable; I also liked the small hip adjuster and the fact that it's in a hard-to-find black color. Not to mention, the price is simply unbeatable!! It's something I'd strongly suggest for postpartum recovery.
This was used by my wife after her second pregnancy. She was blown away by how effective it was in removing a pouch she had after her first pregnancy. She had just finished her previous pregnancy and was looking forward to using this band to help her get everything back in order. She had no problems wearing it, and her first one lasted months for the price. It was only because it was too large for her that she stopped using it.
I've been using it for a while now. This is the second one I've gotten of this type, but his is the best; it helps with your back, belly, and pelvic area, especially after a cesarean delivery. br>Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu I'll tell all my friends about it.
