I bought this a few weeks ago, right after my total hysterectomy, and I can confidently say that it is one of the most comfortable binders I have ever worn; it is soft and flexible, and I am able to do everything I normally do while wearing it; highly recommended.
I bought a large because my waist is 41 inches.
They have a size chart; order a size larger than you think you'll need because you can always wrap it around. Support is extremely well-built.
Yes, a smidgeon, I'd like to say this c- The section belly band, which is especially useful during the first three weeks after giving birth, holds the belly and stomach in place.

This literally saved my life! After a c-section, the hospital gives me a belly binder, which I despise. I decided to order this one because it was in the section. Its soft! Because it isn't very long, it won't completely conceal your incision. With both c sections, my obgyn advised me to wear the belly binder around my hips to keep the pressure on my incision; it makes a huge difference! As soon as I could, I wore it. I was able to stand and walk because I was able to get up. It had been about 5 hours since the surgery had taken place. It kept everything in place and allowed me to walk without much pain. Even though I still needed a pillow to cough, this was a huge help. I could get up and down without feeling like I was going to fall apart, lay on my side without feeling like my insides were all falling to one side, and I didn't have the pain that I had with the cheap hospital binder or without one. Overall, I was pleased with the product; it was simple to put on and not overly uncomfortable to sleep in. With the exception of showering, I wore it all the time. It was easier to use the potty with it on. Then I'd take it off, pull everything up, and put it back on again. I'm glad I purchased it, especially at such a low price!.
I'm one week postpartum and had my baby via c section, so you can imagine the muffin top I had afterward. I felt really loose in my stomach and needed something to help me put things back together, and this was exactly what I needed! I was afraid of hurting my c section cut if I sneezed or coughed after giving birth, but with this belt on, it was much less painful!.
Following a hysterectomy, I'm using this product. It's simple to use, provides excellent support, and is easily adjustable, which I appreciate. Because different areas of the garment are adjustable, I can tighten or loosen it as needed for maximum comfort. So far, I am very pleased with this product!.
br>It works great; I started using it on the second day after giving birth. I was worried that I had ordered the wrong size because it barely Velcroed, but I was still very swollen. I waited until the third day to bond my belly, and it felt amazing! When you wake up after a c section, you feel as if your insides are falling apart and it's difficult to breathe. It's like getting a hug in the right place to keep you feeling good while you're moving around. br>I'm glad it's long enough to cover from my lower butt/lower abdomen all the way up a few inches under my breasts because you have to place it low enough to bind the lower part of your stomach. br>Excellent product, I'm very pleased with it! My nurse who assisted me in putting it on kept telling me that she'd tell her other patients about it because it was so cute and functional!.
What an INCREDIBLY AWESOME binder! I recently underwent abdominal surgery and now have a hip-to-hip scar in the same general area as my csection 7 years ago (today!). ) and I have to say that I wish I had purchased this for them before the surgery because what they used in comparison? This one is absolutely incredible! I'm at a loss for words to describe how much better this is than the standard one-piece they wear while at the table. My only gripe is that I should have purchased the medium instead of the small. I was aware that I have a 30-year-old son. I had a 32" waist, but was measured at a medical supply store as 35" (while bending over in pain wearing a hospital binder that didn't fit correctly and had been cut down by my surgeon to fit my torso better and was causing pain). I knew that was wrong, but after losing 80 pounds I am still getting used to these smaller things fitting. You must put it on just enough so that the back panel (behind the Velcro straps, but also the back back) lays flat, then put the *top* Velcro piece across your ribs so that it stays in place, and then simply readjust it until it is perfect; like Goldilocks, you must check each strap and Velcro and what angles they are at. They'll change as you progress, so you'll have to redo the first once you've completed the second and third, but that's where the magic happens! Try putting it on while standing or lying down; the difference in position can sometimes help you get the perfect fit for your body and preferences (even if they change every few hours like mine). I've been able to put it on in at least four different strap directions (*by myself*, which was impossible with the one piece I was given after surgery) and it's been like Mary Poppins each time (practically perfect in every way!). )br>br>Please keep in mind that the fabric on the side panels does not adhere to Velcro, so if you're in between sizes and think it's too big, go down a size so the straps are in the middle rather than on the sides. Tip: If you end up with one that's a little too big, use the elastic straps that come out of the back over the Velcro on the front straps to keep it in place where it won't stick. I'm so excited to get the medium, and I'll make sure to let you know if I notice/feel any differences in how it fits once it's properly fitted. I can't see it getting any better than it is right now because it is incredible, but what if it does? If you're undecided about which binder to get, this is the one to go with. You will not be disappointed for the price of $20!.
a pleasant exchange I bought two because they were soft as described and the color was exactly as pictured. While the other is being washed, one will be worn. I'm 5'10", so there's plenty of room for my torso. Great adjustment options, and I especially like the extra elastic on the side. Because I'm dealing with pain, I don't have it super cinched in this photo, but the adjustable support is fantastic. It was almost too small for me (I'm a size 10) Dress size 12 pre-owned LG thinking pre-owned LG thinking pre-owned LG pre-owned LG pre-owned LG pre-owned LG pre-owned The Velcro just catches the other edge right now, but I think the fit will be great in the long run once I can cinch it a little tighter. I don't think going bigger is a good idea.
