They've worked in temperatures as high as 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Personally, I don't agree. Temperatures above 70 degrees Fahrenheit would make the boot too warm for hiking, but my feet are always hot. For hiking, the boot is a tad too big. It's ideal for yard work or boating and fishing. Ankle support is insufficient.
So you've forced me to go back and look at the link where I ordered my men's size 14 shoes. The men's Muckster II is listed in the women's section, and you're right! I can only tell you that I am a size nine. I wear a size 5 in almost all shoes, and a size 10 Muck is perfect for me. So it's possible they're correct. However, there are some websites that provide free shipping as well as free return shipping. You should try to buy from one of those sites as a safe bet - even if the boots are a little more expensive.
I bought them because they are great for on/off. Because my ankles are fused, I am unable to wear higher boots. This is a fantastic solution.

They're very comfortable and I wear them all day at work five days a week. When I have to go into a customer's house, they are easy to put on and take off. I was worried they'd be too hot in the summer, but they're fine in both hot and cold weather. br>Recent changes: Someone asked how tall these are, so I took a picture and posted it. 7" to the top of the boot, and 3" to the top of the boot's rubber waterproof part 1/2".
I inquired about sizing with friends who own Muck boots. I read the reviews and the Q&As as well. A prior to placing an order. My shoe size is ten. I didn't want to wear a 5 D street shoe, so I went with the 10-inch version. 5 boot. Although my toes didn't bunch, it was too tight in the toe cup. The fit improved when I removed the sock pad, but I needed the cushioning, so that was not an option. In addition, I pair my boots with Vermont-made DarnTuff socks. As a result, I placed an order for the 11. 0 - Replacement of 5 boots. It fits perfectly and is extremely comfortable to wear - It should be neither too tight nor too loose. The key to ordering, in my opinion, is to keep things simple. If you're in a size 10, this is the shoe for you. Go up one size if you're wearing a five-inch street shoe. Muck boots are half-size. For people who wear whole sizes, I believe the decision is much easier to make. To put it another way, if you normally wear a size 10 street shoe, you should order a size 10 Muckster.
I found the fit to be about right. Be aware that these boots (and, I'm guessing, the shoe versions) do not come with high-quality insoles. You won't notice unless you want or need a lot of arch support, in which case inserts are required. SuperFeet is the brand that I use, but there are others. During the winter, I've been taking my dogs for walks in a nearby park. A lot of the time, the ground is wet. My feet are kept dry thanks to the Muck boots. They do not, however, have a grippy sole, and I have slipped on moderate slopes. They also don't last very long. If I keep wearing them on dog walks, the soles will soon wear out, so I'll retire them and use them for yardwork instead. The following is an accurate description: garden boots made out of rubber I was aware of this when I purchased them, and I was concerned about their longevity. However, I felt compelled to put them to the test. I put them to use for a purpose for which they were not intended. As long as you're going to use them for yard and garden work, that is. These are incredible! I actually look forward to wearing them because they are so comfortable! At dog sporting events, I'm on my feet in wet/damp conditions, and when I'm wearing these, I almost forget about my feet. Pros: Completely waterproof, good traction, and simple on/offbr>br>Defendable pro: I like how thin the insole is, but I'm sure some of you will not. br>br>Con: Because there is no way to tighten them, they move around a lot while walking, resulting in heavy wear and tear on the inside at the upper heel area and other places along the insole. br>br>Overall, I'm pleased, but after only two months, there are already holes forming in the heels. They'll need to be replaced in about a month, and I won't be buying these again.
They were purchased to help with light farm chores in northern Michigan. The boots aren't meant to be worn in extreme cold. The boots are extremely easy to put on and take off. Other slip-on boots I've bought have a rigid band around the ankle, hidden beneath the neophrene/rubber, that serves to keep the boot top open. This rigid plastic band has chafed my ankles and always breaks over time, whereas these boots have no rigid band at all. The boot's top is open and will remain so. It's very simple to get your foot stuck in. The loop at the top of the top strap appears to be well-made. Nothing has broken in the last four months. I don't wear them all day, but I do wear them on a daily basis. I'd give them another star if I could, but I haven't had them long enough to justify it.
