I usually wear a size 10 or larger, but a 10 was far too large for me, and a 9 was perfect. with enough space for my toes to move
Hello Nancy, I returned these boots because they were too big for me, but I can tell you that they would definitely fit large calves:
It fits me despite my wide calf.
I just took my own measurements. 6 inches by 4 inches is the circumference of the opening. The toe-to-heel opening is larger than the side-to-side opening.

They appear to be well-made and durable. They arrived on time and looked exactly as they did on the website. I'm an 8. I took the "Fit Quiz" (or whatever it's called) with five other people. They recommended that you order up to a 9 on the scale. I did. WRONG! These boots are long and wide (despite the fact that I do not have narrow feet). I tried walking around the house in them with regular socks on, and they felt like my husband's boots. I also tried on an 8 at a local store that carries this brand (but not in this color scheme). They fit, but my toe almost touched the end of the shoe, and they were still quite wide, so I had to return them and go with a different brand.
They're very cute and I've gotten a lot of compliments on them because they fit perfectly. They also have excellent protective qualities. Even after months of use, they still look brand new. They're comfortable to walk in for extended periods of time; I'm a college student, and my previous rain boots used to blister and hurt my feet. That's why I decided to purchase these because I wanted higher-quality ones. I'm glad I did because they don't bother my feet at all when I wear them all day.
I really like how they look and how they fit. Excellent craftsmanship. However, given the price, I was hoping for some comfortable insoles. I reused insoles from a pair of shoes I already owned. It had improved a little bit. (At the very least, it's an improvement. ) I, on the other hand, wore them as a disguise. For about an hour, I treated my children. 30-minute time limit After about 15 minutes, my feet started to hurt. My feet were in excruciating pain the next day, and I could barely walk. During the trick-or-treating period It began to pour so heavily that the roadside became flooded. We were forced to walk through water nearly as deep as my boots. My feet were completely dry despite the fact that the rest of my body was soaked. This is my first pair of rain boots, so I don't have anything to compare them to, but they do require some foot support.
I have a pair of expensive Hunters that are a pain to get off, but these shoes aren't like that. They are very easy to remove. The only drawback is deciding which ones to purchase! Oh, my goodness! Isn't this pair of boots adorable? It came down to either the blue with polka dots and yellow soles or the black with bees after much deliberation (I'm not kidding, I've bought cars faster than this). The polka dots were acquired by me. I'm so used to getting compliments on my rubber boots that I get irritated if I don't get them. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.
br>br>Of course, everyone's feet are different, and I'm a size 7 1/2 with most brands, but I can comfortably fit into a size 7. br>They fit exactly as expected; however, rain boots in particular never seem to fit "just" right; the materials are just a little too awkward for a set-it-and-forget-it experience. The tread on these is definitely enough to keep from sliding on smooth surfaces, and they fit close enough to regain control without twisting an ankle if a slip were to occur. I got these specifically for work, which includes being able to keep pace with toddlers in oftentimes terribly slick mud, such as when it rains about once or twice every week or so, and nearly every day in the wintertime. br>The only disadvantage is the calf width. Because of how much time I spend crouching and running around on my feet, I have slightly above average calves that are noticeably tight. However, if you're walking around in the rain, this isn't necessarily a bad thing. br>br>As a bonus, the box they come in is adorable and can be used to store items! br>I'll update if the pattern (I got the yellow ones with bees) peels or stains after a few months, but I don't think it will with proper care.
I'm a size 7, but my feet are wide and my arch is high. The 7 is a perfect fit, and the boot is a pleasure to wear. It's so adorable. Also, it arrived very quickly!.
I was blown away by the quality of these rainboots. I'd never bought rainboots before, but I'd tried on a few pairs at TJ Maxx and other stores. In terms of design and craftsmanship, these were far superior. The sole is soft and cushioned. I was surprised by how much more than I had expected. The rubber appears to be more durable and well-insulated than cheaper models. The height of these boots was also appealing to me. I'm 5'8'', size 12, and have muscular legs. These hit just as my calves begin to curve out, so they're not too tight or difficult to put on compared to what I'd expect from those with a higher shaft. They're long enough for me to tuck into my jeans. I bought them in the red peony color, which is matte rather than shiny and bright and cheery for spring. I was blown away and would recommend it to anyone.
I believe I have a slightly wider foot, and these fit perfectly. I could wear a slightly thicker sock with these for added warmth if necessary. These have a wide calf area and are not constricting. The calf/below-knee height is ideal. Although there is some extra room in the calf area, as shown in the advertisement photo, they still look great and fit well! I really like this brand because of the high quality, the variety of colors and patterns, and the comfort; I would definitely recommend it! Quick delivery! These are sure to get you a lot of compliments!.
