It was my elk hunt that inspired me to get these boots. My warm and comfortable hiking boots held up well in the snow, and the best part is I was the only one with them in my hunting party It is important to keep your feet dry.
While I don't know how cold it gets in your winters, mine have been very pleasant The process of making bogs is quite similar. It is rated to - for Bogs It seems that these are similar in some way
In short, yes. There is a lot of heat and humidity where I live in southeast Louisiana. Despite the warmer weather, my feet were not overheated and I continued to wear them comfortably.
Make sure you wear 2 pairs Because they are closed in, they can be comfortable, but the foot will scream for relief when they are removed.

To compare these to, I have owned several pairs of bogs, as well as Mucks and a few other brands. My feet stay dry and warm in these boots just as they did in Bogs that I have owned for years. The ones I know work in barns cleaning stalls, feeding animals during cold, wet, wintery weather, or irrigating them in creeks. They definitely see their fair share of failures on a daily basis, but haven't. In terms of longevity, I cannot speak, since I have not owned them through every season The fact is, they get put to work, and they're worn every day. It has been an excellent purchase so far. The price was an incredible third of what I would have paid for a name-brand product.
I wore them this weekend on a UTV ride and they were very comfortable to wear, even on rocky terrain. They kept my feet warm when I was in the water, too, and I like the fact that they fit tightly around the upper part near the knees. Water that slightly goes over the boot does not go all the way down the inside of the boot to wet your socks if you slip on it. The water is trapped at the pants leg, so while your pants leg gets wet, your feet do not! It is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Whenever I step over mud over the top of my boots, they usually soak up water. I have never owned a pair of boots that did not allow my feet to become soaked! It is highly recommended that you buy these boots.
As I have only worn these a few times, I can't comment on how long they will last. In 20's F) temps with cotton socks, my feet stayed As soon as it gets cold, I put on wool socks and think they will be sufficient. The fact that they fit my wide calves made me very happy It usually takes me a while to find what I need It is because my peasant legs are sturdy that I wear size 15 boots. My experience with them in wet conditions is limited. Maybe I will apply waterproofing spray to be on the safe side. This pair is not too heavy and does not have the clunky boot feel of my good ol' Sorels (which I usually only wear in severe weather). Overall, it was a great investment.
That's so cute! It is a good idea to read the size chart. I'm a size 6 in most shoes I buy, but I measured my foot before purchasing and picked the 5 based on the chart, and they fit perfectly, even with a little extra room for thicker socks if needed. It would have been impossible to wear 6 on my body. In addition, the lanyard was waterproof, so you could wear your phone while swimming.
To wear during the winter, I wanted boots that were tall and waterproof. My primary reason for buying this style of boot is to prevent wet feet. I doubt I'll be hiking in the wilderness or spending long periods of time outside in these boots. Despite the fact that I have only tested these once (first snow since purchase today), and that was in about 3 inches of heavy wet slush/snow, I am highly impressed with them. Wearing normal cotton socks kept my feet warm in the winter I typically wear wool socks. The only question is how warm these will be if you plan to be outside in below freezing temperatures for long periods of time. I did wear them after I got out of my car, and then walked across a grocery store parking lot, stepping over the snow piles. Despite my wide feet, there was no leaking or seeping of snow or water inside. I sized up since I tend to have wide feet, but I could have gotten by As I live in Michigan, I'll update my review once I have worn them some more in the coming winter months.
I really like how nice and comfortable the room is. While getting bait, I kept my feet dry and warm by helping get some minnows from the river.
My height is 4'10", so they hit just below my knees, which is fine. They seem to run a little large, but I plan on wearing thick insulated socks so that should be no problem.
These boots were just purchased and I took them pheasant hunting in Wisconsin a winter with a lot of wind and cold. I had no problems with them and my feet were gave them a 4. 5 star rating since I am not sure how long they will last -- It is only this winter that they will be tested. Despite this, I am very pleased with the price at this point.
