I figured that using Amazon Wardrobe to try on shoes would be a good idea - Because sizes vary from brand to brand, and even from shoe type to shoe type within a brand, you never know if they're too small or too big; however, Amazon Wardrobe has been nothing short of a NIGHTMARE experience. I returned the items, Amazon claimed I didn't, I provided them with a receipt demonstrating that I dropped it off at UPS weeks ago and that UPS shows that it was delivered to the Amazon warehouse, and nothing else. Amazon stops responding to my emails and then charges me over $300 for three pairs of shoes that did not fit (including these, which were extremely uncomfortable) and that I returned to them three weeks ago. WADROBE IS NOT TO BE USED.
These boots looked great at first, with a good fit and a nice appearance. These boots are already showing signs of wear after only a year. The patent leather has cracked and peeled away, revealing a hole underneath! I believe there was a manufacturing error in the production of these, and I am dissatisfied. I didn't pay for these shoes to wear out so quickly and without cause. I didn't scrape these shoes in the places where they cracked and ripped, so I'm not sure what's going on. I'd like to speak with someone about this, but I can't seem to find a way to contact anyone to discuss the issue.
I'm not sure if it's the shell's outer coating or the upper's aggressive stitching on the bridge, but these shoes are killing my feet. I'm adamant about breaking them in, which isn't typical of a Doc. They're as stiff as a corpse in rigor mortis, and they're a constant reminder that beauty doesn't come without suffering. The good news is that they don't leave any blisters, despite pinching like an auntie at a family reunion. However, I am not giving up- Otherwise, I'll have to break them in. They appear to be far too good to be given up so easily.
Martens before and they're really comfortable and durable, and they last a long time. However, after wearing them a few times, the flap and the back cut my skin, and the pictures were taken right after I realized I was bleeding on my foot and ran back home. There had never been any previous injury there. They're comfortable, but the material cuts; in fact, you'll notice that I'm wearing socks and have bandages on the back of my foot.
Guys, I'm serious. Docs are familiar to people who buy them. Generic box, low-cost vinyl uppers, low-cost rubber soles, no materials list, no Docs documentation, and no tags. When you pay $150 for a genuine leather product, it's an insult. There has to be a way to get companies like this out of business. If you conduct business in this manner, you are simply a bad guy. You're no different than a thief.
I was expecting a lot more. These appear to be a good Dr. Martens knockoff. They're fine, but there are a few things about them that make me doubt their authenticity. There is a difference in quality. First and foremost, the laces are thinner than normal. The brand logo in the insole then appears to be different, as shown in the photo (the left one is from a genuine pair). It's amazing how well the right one matches the ones I'm scoring! The size indicated on the shoe (3 UK) does not match the size indicated on the box (6 UK), among other things. It's inconvenient to buy a pair of shoes, expecting them to be of the same high quality as Dr. Martens, only to discover that they aren't. I had high hopes for this.
My daughter is a size 10 in her clothing. As expected, it fits perfectly. In the United States, my daughter wears a size 10 and that is what we received. They're made out of a beautiful patent leather. Her excitement was palpable. I'd always wanted a pair as a kid, but since we live in Florida, there's no way my mother would pay $100 for shoes, much less boots. My daughter, on the other hand, wears boots all the time, even in the summer in Florida. In Florida, only tourists and recent transplants wear flip flops all of the time.
Love these boots, they fit as expected after reading the reviews, tight where the tongue is sewn into the shoe, but after 6 to 10 hours of wear, they are breaking in and becoming much more comfortable. I bought the black patent leather boots in a size 39eu, but I normally wear a 38eu, so I had to go up a size. It was a great time!.
