Questions & Answers

Is this a men's or a woman's running shoe?

These are only available in women's sizes. Thanks!

Are these suitable for curvy women who have a wider calf?

Although the boot has a fairly large opening, it may be a little tight if your calf is particularly large.

Is the lining made out of sheep's wool?

Yes, the footbed is made of sheepskin, and the lining is made of a wool blend.

Is it possible to fold the top portion over to reveal the inside? This is something I see a lot of people do with their uggs. ?

This is a question I've been thinking about. So I ordered them, and yes, you can fold them over about two inches at the top to get the fur look. I got both the grey and the maroon and folded them over. This is how I feel about them.

I hadn't worn my grays nearly as much because they were my favorites
3/5

On November 14th, 2017, I purchased these. I purchased three pairs. Gray, hickory, and olive: I've been wearing my olive or hickory on a daily basis. I hadn't worn my grays nearly as much because they were my favorites. Today it's raining, so I'm not sure why my foot is wet. I noticed a huge gaping hole in the sole of my boot when I removed it. Mind you, I've only worn them maybe ten times. The other two are fine; I just double-checked them. The gray pair are the only ones. For the amount of money you pay, it's completely absurd. My return window, of course, closed on January 21st, and I included a photo. *****update****

br>br>I contacted Bearpaw and filed a warranty claim. From now on, I'm only going to own Bearpaw. They provide the best customer service I've ever encountered. They didn't have my size in the gray Emma boot, so they contacted me and told me to choose a pair that was similar and cost around the same, which I did, and they're fantastic.

It's warm and inviting
5/5

These boots were only delivered to me a couple of days ago. For a long time, I couldn't understand why this particular boot was so popular. I tried on a pair of UGG boots before buying these. I have no idea what the difference is between UGG and bear paw. Essentially, you're choosing one brand over the other. This is the best bang for your buck if you care more about practicality and comfort than a label. Bear Paw shoes are my favorite because they come in half sizes (I'm a size 9) and are reasonably priced. 5). I love these so much that I bought two pairs, one in gray and the other in caramel, and both pairs are still less expensive than one pair of UGGS. I wore the gray ones for 12 hours straight the first time I put them on. They fit perfectly and were true to size; I had no discomfort or complaints, and my feet stayed toasty warm all day in bitter cold. My purchase has made me extremely happy!.

It only lasted a few weeks
3/5

After that, the soles started to separate. I only wore these boots for about three months. This is the second time I've purchased this pair, and they've lasted the entire fall/winter season. However, the soles have slits for grip, which have split all the way through the cushion on the bottom of the boots due to normal wear. There is most likely a tread pattern that is superior to this one. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I submitted a warranty request through Bearpaw on January 10th, they approved it on January 16th, and it is now February 25th and I still have no tracking number, indicating that it has not yet shipped. It's possible that it's already been shipped and I'm just not aware of it. However, it is inconvenient to be without wearable boots for two weeks in Ohio during the winter. I don't buy a lot of extra shoes; I only buy what I need, so I didn't have anything to fall back on except for heavy snow boots. Instead of receiving the warranty request, I think I should have just bought a new pair and written these off.

We put a white piece of paper in them to show the size of the tear because they had only been worn a few times and were not prone to tearing easily
3/5

the qu. I bought these as a x-mas present for my wife. mas gift. The shaft was a little snug at first, but after a few days, it stretched out nicely. They ripped along the top of the boot's seam after 16 days. We put a white piece of paper in them to show the size of the tear because they had only been worn a few times and were not prone to tearing easily. The quality appeared to be adequate, and they appeared to be sturdy until that point. I should also mention that it was an unusual location for them to tear, because when you pull them on, they appear to have ripped from the back. Amazon was fantastic as usual, making the return process simple and promptly issuing a refund once the item was received.

Perfect!
5/5

When it comes to the winter, I always have a pair on hand! I used to always buy a size up when I was 13 or 14, only to be surprised four months later when the bottoms of my shoes were ripped out. This is because the inside of the boot's fur wears down over time, causing the boot to slide off my heel and scrape the floor as I walked. That being said, go with your normal size; if it fits snugly, that's a good thing! These boots have lasted longer than one cold season because I stayed true to size. Comfortable, cute, and can be worn with any pair of pants. They're wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!.

For the price, it's a great deal

UPDATE on the subject of: quality! UPDATE: These boots are still my favorite for keeping warm - HOWEVER - The soles simply haven't held up. Because the newer versions of these have a very different sole, I believe Bearpaws realizes this was a bad design. This flat version has cracked across the balls of both feet and is allowing moisture in, which is particularly frustrating given how well the rest of the boots have worn (that is, not at all). I've only had them for two seasons, and I'm not sure I'll be able to make it through this winter in them. It's frustrating because they're so expensive; if they weren't so far out of the way, it wouldn't be so bad. I would have returned them after the one-year warranty period had expired. I'll save them for cold, dry days now. br>br>Like many people, I get cold feet in the winter, and I've had a hard time finding winter boots that are both warm and comfortable without being too heavy or too expensive. Until I borrowed the Bearpaws from my boyfriend. I knew I had to get my own after an hour of walking around town in sub-zero temperatures and still being able to feel my toes. However, these cost between $85 and $125 in retail stores and on the Bearpaw website. That isn't something I can afford. I was concerned that I would be purchasing knockoffs or imitators when I saw these on Amazon, but I decided to take a chance. I'm so glad I took the chance. These are complete with all of the necessary characteristics - Tread/stamping on the soles, logo patches, and hang tags - I wear a lot of black and grey, so the charcoal color option was welcome, and the lining/insole are just as cozy and warm as my boyfriend's pair. I'm really happy with this purchase, and I'm thinking about getting another pair in a different color.

Don't be concerned about downsizing
4/5

That is so adorable! I usually wear a size 8 or a size 8. In general, the United States of America is ranked number five. I purchased the size 9 in case I wanted to wear them with socks. I've heard they stretch out after a while, but I haven't tried them on yet. If they stretch out after a while, small 'peds,' also known as training socks, invisible socks, and so on, may be required. This is a bit of a bummer for me because I prefer not to wear socks at all, so it's not a big deal. breaker. In my case, I'd go with the larger of your *typical* size range rather than going up a size. My size 5 is the bigger of the two (8 or 8) that I have. 5) and 9 are probably not required, but they will suffice; however, they may necessitate the use of different sick thicknesses. Oh, and I have WIDE feet, which is why I need eight pairs. These appear to be quite wide, and an 8 appears to be appropriate. This would have been covered by a score of five.
