There are two factors I will consider when evaluating this visor It boasts comfort, sun protection, and comfort - all in one! I feel like this is sort of This is not what I expected - I expected a lightweight, thin, and flimsy headwear material that could last for only a season, instead this is a superbly engineered piece. A few years ago, I got my son a welding face mask with metal fasteners and the part that holds the shaded piece reminded me of this. I find it heavy enough to make it very uncomfortable for me. My sunglasses fog up too much when I wear them with a medical mask, so I wanted to use this in place of a hat and sunglasses. The Blocking of the Sun Despite the fact that it doesn't block from the sun as well as I would have liked, I think I should have chosen a However, I find it blocks enough light to be used as a headwear on an overcast day outdoors. I even don't have to wear a medical mask while wearing it. In addition, I like that the shade can be flipped towards the head to make the mask a bit less bonnet-like.
