In addition to the black, I purchased the white. I received what I believe to be synthetic materials, more like nylon or polyester. The description said it was cotton, but the items I received were synthetic. It is likely that white or another color is cotton, but this one is They seemed a bit thin to me as well. These things won't last very long, I think. It may be okay to use this the same way as dress shoe laces, but its not recommended for use with athletic shoes.

A small size is perfect for babies' shoes of size 8, and would be perfect for anything smaller as well. Getting bigger shoes may require you to order up a size. There is a bright white hue to the white, and the laces look like they will stand up to many ties, but we have not tested this.

I bought the 80 cm, and they fit my toddler's size 6 shoes pretty well. It would have been better to go smaller, but these work for me. Having learned how to double knot, I am able to do so.

The quality control for this product was poor. You can see a pic here. The lace on the right is 2 inches shorter than the one on the left. The quality of Sechunk's products are poorly controlled. You can see a pic here. My options are described in an email I sent to the seller (Sechunk). It did not reply to my email. A bag of loose lace arrived at the delivery location in a jumbled mess. Despite the fact that it says "cotton" in the product name, these laces are definitely My guess is that I will return EDIT *br*. It's been one week since then. Purchasing a second pack of the same laces was a good idea. There were 3 laces of slightly different lengths in the two packs' lace total of 8 laces (4 pairs). It is just barely possible to lace up my size 8 tennis shoes with the 80 cm ones. My shoes are a bit frayed at the tips, but I tie them and double-lace them You don't need to tie them again, so I won't have to worry about it. The white laces will do just fine if all you want is plain white.
