Questions & Answers
Although the lace length is listed, keep in mind that the Rhino laces are especially stiff, so consider that when ordering.
One laces for each boot is included.
My measurements appear to be 4 when I hold a ruler up to mine. The diameter of the hole is 5 millimeters. If you pull laces or press them through an eyelet, they will compress. There is no compression with these. Now that they are on my First Tactical boots, I love them. Getting them through the eyelets was a challenge, but once they are on, I love them.
Probably not, but I wear them every day as a member of the army. In one pair of boots, I have them inside two pairs of boots. We'd have to stomp out fires, go in and out of armored vehicles, and deal with dust, dirt and rocks. Over the last year there has been very little wear on them.

There was also a review that said the laces were too wide for the However, I placed the order anyway and the same happened. Despite the metal tip, the boot lacing hardware would not be able to pass through the lace tips. It took me just a few seconds to remove the tips of the laces, burn the ends of the laces, and then squeeze them through the eyelets using needlenose pliers. This would be a big hassle because of course the sheath would come apart from the kevlar inner threads and I would have to reattach them It took a while to burn the ends After removing the metal ends, I reinstalled them. am now able to declare victory after refusing to give them up when they initially arrived - and I left them there because I refused to submit to a pair of stupid.
To give you a little backstory, I'm an industrial electrician and purchased these to stand up to the harsh environments I am exposed to on a daily basis. Recently, another electrician called me in to repair the work he had started. A pipe of 4 inch Schedule 80 PVC had been installed in an electrical panel, but he had cut it too tall, by about 5 inches, that caused him to mess up the installation. the cable had already been pushed into the pipe and could not be removed without an exorbitant amount of work, I was assigned to find a solution to this problem. I took off my left bootlace and used the end of it to cut through the pipe. I was afraid the shoelaces would break, but they didn't break at all. In fact, they weren't frayed at all. Only slightly discolored from PVC, they are incredibly durable, resilient, and capable shoelaces you can not go wrong with. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a shoelace that won't let them down.
Rhino has crimped metal ends on the laces that appear to prevent fraying that can mean the end of lesser laces, which is a good idea, however I had to open up the lace guides on my Asolo boots to let the metal laces pass through. There is enough room for the ends. Though not too much, I'm very happy with that.
Because I live in my boots, it always seems to happen early in the morning when I had to start my day, and I always had to put my tennis shoes on or keep an extra set of laces somewhere. The laces are very nice and are very durable. I ordered these after another pair of "unbreakable" laces ripped in half and I was basically resigning myself to replacing The reason I put them on was that I thought they'd last a normal 6-month period Eight months from now, I would be buying another one. There has never been a break in the first set. The sheath in the 44" set was just a bit too long for my boots, so I ordered the 36" set. I got a small tear in the sheath after a couple years, and I wanted to try the smaller set anyway. The only thing I could criticize is that they did not have a length between these two In the event that you have a pair of boots that you keep breaking the laces on, I strongly recommend looking into these products.
Those laces were worn out on my uniform boots, so I bought these to replace them. Initially, I used speed laces made of the same textile but they wore out very quickly in the desert sand. Laces of this type are less flexible, but they are very strong and hold knots I do not find them suitable for speed laces due to their rigidity and weave, but I do find them satisfactory.
The fire boots I bought came with leather laces. I decided to replace them with these. It's easy to keep them cinched up all day due to the rough exterior. The holes and eyelets work really well together. It has been too short to comment on the durability of these shoes, but I don't foresee that being an issue in the long run. The company I work for recommended this brand to me It is a pleasure to work with them and I recommend them to anyone in my field. In general, they are a great product and are not prohibitively expensive.
These lace's were purchased for the purpose of making a boot lace that would endure scraping rocks on, being beaten up and generally standing up to a lot. There were bushes and sticks in the way. I hope you see where I'm going. The construction of these gaffs was very good, and they fit well in terms of size, though I have not had time to fish with them yet. So, with that in mind, it's almost winter Steelhead season, and I'm looking forward to giving them a good test, hoping that they live up to their claims.
A B. I rate it USELESS. Our words are weak and trashy. This is a zero star review. In my opinion, the metal tips of a $20 pair of shoelaces should have lasted longer than 48 hours, but they did not. The lace can be worn either way. It took 48 hours for the tips to fall Not one of them was ripped off or torn. Falling off was the result. A $20 bill. Waste of time and money. For 2 boots, I bought 2 sets. A total of two metal tips still remain from the original eight. There are two. This is trash. This is garbage. It's best not to do it.
