This is a good quality product. Probably slightly more expensive, but since it is difficult to find shoelaces in stores these days, I will probably spend more on gas driving around looking for red laces than I would spend on this item.
Two pairs of laces are included in this pack
My soles are slightly thicker than 1/8", but they have been in my boots for nearly a year, which means they have softened and inflated A new one will probably be close to even if it is 1/8".

I needed to replace the laces that came with hiking boots that were too short. Ordered these in red with black flecks I needed the length and the size was just slightly smaller around, so it was easier to lace and tighten. It seems to be of good quality and strong. It was only a bit of a negative since I had to purchase two pairs. It's not likely I will break a lace, but, well, I'll be prepared.
These laces I am happy to report did not come undone on my 3rd 1 mile walk of the day after ordering, receiving, and installing them in working boots. The only reason for 4 stars is that I couldn't find these in brown (even though I'm not a red/black lace guy). Nevertheless, nothing is perfect (my last pair of laces lasted 10 years of rigorous daily wear, they are not available anymore), so I'm expecting them to last at least as long.
A second pair was purchased to replace the laces on some high end brand new boots as these laces are far superior to those that came with the boots.
These are a good style, but no matter how tight I tie them, they come untied constantly, multiple times every day, which is very annoying and, in some cases, This is not a product I would recommend.
This is the perfect drawstring for my project) I used them as draw strings for my project).
Lace that is very strong and well constructed. A boot that rises just above the ankle was the perfect size for its height. The Salewa Mountain Trainer Mid worked perfectly when I used it.
My Danner Bull Run boots look nice with these laces.
A full sized double bow tie can be worn on an 8" high boot with plenty of extra room.
