I don't see the big surprise here. I would use them for shoestrings, but I hope they would break if you tried to use them to strangle someone. Average quality at best.

They are perfect for me

I was not able to cut the shoe laces on my athletic shoes down to the proper length by double knotting them. Once I had had enough of that, I checked Amazon, of course, and found these laces there. When making the grommets, I based my measurements off of the pair of grommets measures, and I was worried that I would have to return them. I can't believe how well these fit! I thought they were strong and flat, so they are essentially what I expected. Having solved this issue finally made me feel better, and now I know where to buy.

A truly accurate description of the issue Laces that are very thin

It is an accurate description of the product. There is no difference in color or length from what was advertised. There is a problem with the laces, however. My plan was to replace the laces on a pair of Sketchers sneakers with these laces. Fraying and eventually breaking of the laces were visible on one shoe. I like the look of these replacement laces, but they are thin in comparison to the ones that came with my shoes. Please note that I am referring to the Z-Type The "depth" of the laces is measured along the axis. I see that the laces on my shoe are just as wide as the original laces that came with it. It is going to feel much thinner when you have your hands on it.

With the AJ1 Neutral Grey Hyper Crimsons already being a crazy shoe, it wouldn't be normal to match the laces to the tongue. Changing it up was the best course of action. A very close match can be found in both length and color. That's exactly what I needed.

It was exactly what I wanted

An entirely midnight blue pair of sneakers is in my closet. Everything from the top of the shoe to the soles. When the laces came with the shoes, I thought they were going to end up in the landfill after they started fading and becoming weak. However, I found these laces online, ordered the same length as those already on the shoes. It was a quick and easy process and the colors matched perfectly. I am now a month later and the shoestrings still look great and are not falling apart. LOVE them!.

There are times when shoe stores cannot find laces

looking for a replacement shoe lace for a pair of shoes that had one of the laces worn out. I found the shoe lace I wanted in a particular size and color. These sizes and colors of lace aren't available at any of the big box shoe stores I checked. *I went out to Amazon and found that the laces I wanted were available there. It was the right size, the right color, and it arrived on time. I was happy with it. I have not encountered any problems with their quality.
