A pair of laces comes with each pair of shoes. Unlike some other distributors, this one doesn't come with 4 laces. I found these laces to be the perfect match for the athletic shoes I was using.
A pair of 6 eyelet, size 8 tennis shoes I own has 51" laces. It would be 66% of that length or 34" if it were made from four eyelets. The ones I have are about 2 inches too long for In any case, that would still leave 30" looking short, but shoe size may dictate where it should end.

In a bid to match my friend and me, I bought a pair of yellow and purple (Lilac) laces. The latter proved to be the perfect choice for them- It is sometimes difficult to tie a laces into our boots because many of them are too short. My only complaint is that the lilacs I bought for myself were lighter than the ones in the picture, but they were still purple nonetheless. However, now that they're a little dirty (I've worn my boots every day for months now with these laces), they appear white in some lights, and if you're familiar with lacing then you know that white lace tends to show up in some light.
