For use in climates with moderate temperatures. I took a few photos to show how the fit looked. I'm 6 feet tall and weigh 235 pounds. The stomach is small, but the chest and shoulders are large. The XL is a perfect fit for me. The sleeves are the perfect length, and the waist isn't too tight or loose, with a Velcro closure on the sleeves and a drawstring on the waist. The interior is made of a softer thermal material. Although the outer shell appears to be water resistant, it is extremely soft and stretchy on the inside. I live in Southern California, where the winters are mild and the summers are hot. I like how light and airy this jacket is. It doesn't overheat you. Wearing it is extremely relaxing. I used to have a lot of Columbia jackets, which were extremely comfortable. This one compares favorably to the others. I love the pockets! My iPhone Pro Max fits perfectly in the front shirt pocket, keeping it secure and out of the way. I keep my sunglasses in the pen pocket. Then there's the chest and sleeve pockets, which are both zip. Inside the jacket, there are two pouch-style pockets. Hands are kept warm in the front zippered hand pockets, which are lined. This jacket has a sharp look to it that I like. The pockets and lining were what drew me to it over the Crowley jacket. I'm pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone who lives in a temperate climate. It has a professional appearance and is extremely functional. The navy blue is what I went with. The color is a dark navy blue, not the slate blue shown in the photo. I ordered my normal size because it fits me well.
Carhartt has a great jacket. Waterproof, no elastic bands for the cuffs or waist, which I dislike in a jacket, and a perfect fit for me (I am 5'11" and 165 pounds). The jacket hangs low enough below the waist to cover your backside, which I appreciate because nothing is worse than bending over and having your backside exposed. The coat also has a drawstring at the waist and velcro at the cuffs for cinching it up and keeping drafts out. There are enough pockets both inside and outside the coat, and the side pockets are deep enough that items won't fall out if they aren't zipped up. I have coats with shallow pockets that constantly dump my wallet or phone because they aren't zipped. Overall, I would recommend this coat to anyone who works outside in the elements or enjoys being outside. Last but not least, I appreciate how light this coat is, weighing only two pounds at most.
This jacket is absolutely gorgeous. Since I first put it on, I've gotten a lot of compliments. I bought it so that I could wear it to work in a professional manner. It's a stylish jacket with a lot of storage. It also helps keep me warm. My height and weight are 6'2" and 220 pounds, respectively. I usually wear an XL shirt, but my Carhartt jacket is Tall Large. For me, it's the ideal fit. I ordered a regular XL at first, but it was far too large. I upgraded to a Tall Large and am overjoyed. The Tall size adds about 2" to the overall length of the garment.
Because my husband works as a carpenter, he wears Carhartt almost all of the time. This jacket is extremely popular with him. It's not his work jacket, but it's his go-to casual jacket. He usually wears a L in Carhartt jackets, but I ordered an XL after reading several online reviews advising to size up. The XL is the one you're looking for. a little too big He stands 6 feet tall and weighs 180 pounds. 185 pounds, broad shoulders, and long limbs I think a L would have been better, but he prefers looser-fitting clothing for layering, so we decided to keep it rather than return for L. For added warmth, he can easily layer with a hoodie. The blue is a beautiful color that goes with everything. I've bought a lot of Carhartt 'factory 2nd' items from Dungaree and have never had any problems with them. This jacket is the same way. When it arrived, I examined it carefully and found it to be in excellent condition and a fantastic value for the money at around $80. This is a purchase you will not be disappointed with. I wish it was available in women's sizes.
In a tall, I was able to order my true size and it fit perfectly. It was long enough without being overly bulky, and it was made of a more durable material. Very nice jacket, and now that I've found this gem, I'll be looking for more Carhartt jackets!.
The jacket is warm and comfortable, with a generous number of pockets. br>However, I have to give this jacket three stars because one of the zippers has already broken after only two weeks. br>I've worn Carharrt farming and landscaping gear, and everything I've used is still in good working order, but I haven't had the opportunity to put it to use yet.
Excellent jacket, particularly useful in light rain, fog, or snow. The jacket is well-made and comfortable, and it fits perfectly. I wear it for casual wear in temperatures as low as 30 degrees if there is no wind; If it's windy, the temperature will drop to around 35 degrees. Carhartt is my go-to brand - This one, in particular, goes above and beyond.
The sleeves will be too long for most men of average build. The medium fit well in the torso, but the arms were too long for me. A small might be too tight in the torso, so I'm trying it on.
