I'm debating between the Tall and Regular sizes. Is there a lot of shrinkage in this jacket?

When I washed it, it didn't shrink much. When bending over, I wanted more coverage to prevent the wind from going up my back.

Is there a fleece lining on the sleeves?

Sleeve Lining 100% Nylon, Sleeve Interlining 100% Polyester, Shell 100% Cotton, Body Lining 100% Polyester

Is a 5xl tall size available for this jacket?

Great jacket, but it has a major flaw
4/5

Despite this, I kept it. This is the best men's Carhartt jacket on the market right now, in my opinion. The reason for this is that they increased the neck coverage, which means it seals in the warmth better than any of their other jackets. It has the "full swing" arms, which are very nice, and the outer fabric is still cotton, which is very durable. To keep the cold air out, they added a cinch waist. It's lined with a soft fleece that's neither too hot nor too cold. It's ideal for temperatures between 32 and 34 degrees Fahrenheit. The temperature is 50 degrees Fahrenheit. br>br>However, there is a serious flaw in it. I'm not sure how the design made it to the final stage of development. When you zip up the jacket, the push button cinch devices are located directly on the INSIDE of the jacket, right next to your mouth. To avoid this problem, most other companies put them on the outside of the jacket. Carhartt must have missed the memo and placed them right against your neck and mouth. This is most likely the most IDIOTIC design imaginable. br>br>So, given the rest of the jacket's awesomeness, I went for the nuclear option. I kept it and literally cut them off to enjoy the jacket, sacrificing the hood cinch function in the process.

If you don't plan on layering underneath, go down a size
5/5

I'm glad I found this product on Amazon Wardrobe and was able to try on a variety of sizes, styles, and colors. I'm 6'2", 200 pounds, and have a lean physique. I have a 34 waist and wear a slim fit, 36/37 sleeve shirt, and 42 long sports coats when I'm fitted for dresswear. I usually don't wear anything underneath my jackets (just a t-shirt). After seeing how big Larges appeared to be on me, I decided to go with a Medium Tall. I haven't bought a medium in any clothing since middle school, so I was surprised to need one, but I'm glad I went with the Tall because the sleeves are perfect for my long arms. When moving and lifting objects, the interior sleeve cuffs sit right at the base of my palm and don't ride up my arm. The Full Swing features are nice, and they provide me with a good fit when I'm doing any movement. I live in Iowa, and the jacket's wind resistance on cold, windy days is impressive, as are the pocket placements and sizes. br>br>After three weeks of use, I have only two minor complaints: 1) the ribbed waist cuff is a little tight on my waist, but I'm hoping it will stretch out with use; I usually just wear it unzipped when I'm running errands on 30-degree days. Days with a high of 40 degrees. 2) The felt lining and shoulder construction are comfortable, but it seems to "snag" my shirt sleeves every time I put on the jacket, bunching them up at the shoulder. On both sides, I usually have to reach across and pull my sleeve back down my upper arm with my other hand. br>br>Overall, I enjoy the jacket and wear it frequently when the temperature in Iowa drops below 45 degrees. Because Carhartt sizing seems to be so difficult to nail down, I felt obligated to leave a review about fit. I'm a slim, tall, and large man, so I opted for the Tall Medium.

You're looking for a great jacket, and you've come to the right place
5/5

this should be purchased You've probably added a half-dozen jackets to your shopping cart. I'm trying to figure out which one to buy. Simply purchase this one. br>br>Varying, extremely warm. down to - If you don't stay out too long, you can get away with 20. easily- 20 or - If you layer, you can get a total of ten points. Because it only comes down to the waist, it will not be able to replace a good coat. You can get a Long, but you'll have to deal with the long sleeves. It is not only warm, but also very comfortable warm. br>br>I'm 200 pounds, 5'8" tall, and have a beer belly, and the Large fits perfectly. a little loose If necessary, you can also layer with something thin. If you plan on wearing a heavy sweater or sweatshirt underneath, go for an XL. If you're unfamiliar with Carhartt Brown, it's not as bright as it appears in the picture. a lot more dark It's almost a brown like a coyote's. br>br>Just the right amount of pockets, perfectly placed. It's hefty, to say the least. a large wooden hanger that is quite heavy. That Full Swing gimmick isn't a ruse. However, I'm at a loss for words; To see what all the fuss is about, you should try it on. br>br>I'm not one of those people who writes a lot of reviews. This, on the other hand, is the best jacket I've ever owned. I'm 60 years old and have a large collection of jackets. This jacket is one of my favorites. It's pricey for a Carhartt, but it's top-notch. br>br>I'm going to go out and get another. Is it true that I'll require two of these jackets? no . That's how much I enjoy it. Last but not least, the hood. It just sits perfectly when you flip it up. This isn't going to be too far in the future. It wasn't all that long ago.

It was well worth the money! I wish Carhartt would make a women's version with the same fit but with a few extra inches in the hips instead of the midsection
5/5

I bought a M Tall for my boyfriend. loved it! I purchased a S as well as a M. M stands for me. I decided to keep the S. As a tall woman with broad shoulders, I'd like to share some of my favorite outfits with you. This jacket looks great on my 41" hips! Jackets are always tight across my shoulders, which is a problem for me. The full swing features solved all of my range of motion issues, so I was able to ride up. The bottom band was a little difficult to close to zip, but after two of my male friends tugged on each side, it's now snug. It appears to block 60 mph winds as if they don't exist. Warms me up without suffocating me. Despite its substantial weight, it does not feel excessively heavy when held in the hand. If necessary, I can layer with a hoodie. This is fantastic! Ladies with broad shoulders, if you're looking for a killer jacket, GIVE THIS ONE A TRY FIRST!.

In less than four months, the fabric had frayed and faded
3/5

The full flex feature is fantastic, and the fit is as expected. After four months of light use, the fabric's durability was poor, and the color faded. My bus driver job was the only time I used the jacket. The cuffs are faded and worn out. This is the last jacket I'll ever buy.

What a fantastic jacket! I adore this jacket and it has quickly become one of my favorites
5/5

I've already purchased two of them. The insulation is just right on the inside, neither too thick nor too thin. The outer duck material isn't too stiff and has the perfect amount of softness. The fact that you can zip the jacket up and cover your neck area is a small detail that I really like. This feature is not found on most traditional hooded duck jackets.
