Dark Gray will be the color of the shadow.
Probably more important than your weight is the size of your chest and how much layering you want. According to the Carhartt size chart (38-42), (40-) is a medium number, and (40-) is a large number. 42) a big one. If you'll be going somewhere really cold and need a lot of layers, go up a size, especially if the vest will be your outerwear. I have a 48-inch chest, and the 2XL is roomy enough to layer under.
Definitely not a low-cost product. The vest is fantastic. love it

Carhartt is my brand of choice, and I have everything from socks to hats. This was a difficult decision for me. I wasn't sure I needed something for those occasions when a jacket is too much, but I received it today and am glad I did. Today's temperature is in the upper 40s, which is ideal for working outside. It's a little on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. It looks as well as it feels. It's a great addition on its own or as a layering piece. br>I'm 5'10" and 180 pounds, and I'm wearing a size large. @@Update- This fits perfectly. br>@@Update- This fits perfectly. br>@@Update- This fits perfectly. b 19 I'm doing some "work" on Hatteras Island in the Outer Banks. It's cold and windy outside. It was 37 degrees outside and windy when I wore this "working" outfit. It was a great windbreaker, and the parts of the vest that it covered were comfortable. My purchase went well.
I got this in copper and black, as well as a Denwood vest. br>I'll try to answer any questions about sizing. I'm wearing a size XL t-shirt. So I went down two sizes to a medium size for a proper fit!br>If you have a large belly, I would only go down one size, but you risk the back shoulder area sticking up, which can be annoying. If you're thicc with two or three c's and it's more than just a belly, the arm opening won't be an issue. br>These vests are all on the short side, so if you need your ass covered, it may be a bit short!br>It sits just below the waist, but I like these better than any other vests I have tried on.
gains from the pandemic, but I'd say it's more likely at this point. If you weigh 200 pounds, you should choose a Large or XL size. br>br>I walked for a few hours at night in this same outfit in 50 degrees, and the vest did a decent job of protecting my torso, given how thin the t-shirt was. underneath the shirt I'll definitely be bringing this vest on my next flight because it's lightweight and foldable (in a sense). If it happens in the near future, that is. Carhartt has done an excellent job.
I really liked it, but it's meant for someone with a bigger stomach. I ordered a large, and the shoulders and chest fit perfectly; however, the bottom of the vest is wide at the waist, and I looked like I was wearing a bell. The style and quality are excellent, and if it fits, I would highly recommend it. I emailed Amazon to return the vest.
For $70, I didn't get what I expected. My $25 Cabellas Fleece vest is just as warm as the new Carhart vest; it was 13 degrees this morning when I shoveled the snow out of my driveway, and I tried it on under the same jacket I always wear, and there was no difference. br> It's difficult to get into snap pockets. To get into the pockets, you must first push the flap out of the way. If you must have Carhart, my recommendation is to spend $20 more and get the Jefferson or Sherpa vests.
I'm trying to lose weight! XXL tall. Due to heart failure, I recently gained more than 50 pounds. I'm 59 years old and wish I still had the same amount of energy as I did when I was younger, but that time has passed. Anyway. The full cut American size Carthartt has always been a favorite of mine, not only because it's durable, but also because it allows for layering. I own a lot of Carhartt jackets. This is my first lightweight vest, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it fit. I'm still a little chubby in the middle. a waist circumference of more than 38" However, my new diet gives me hope. Because I just got it, I can vouch for its long life. However, in 50-degree weather, it's great with a regular long-sleeve tee and gives you a lot of mobility. I'm glad I went with the tall option. If you're over 6' tall, it'll make a significant difference in terms of proportional length and coverage. This new product is a big hit with me. My other canvas Carhartt vests are not as heavy as this one.
On chilly days, this vest is perfect! It's small enough to fit into a daypack. It's light but warm, and it also keeps the wind at bay! I have a small coffee stain on it that won't come out, but that seems to be a common occurrence with any of the polyester/puffy jackets or vests I've owned in the past. The nylon shell appears to have a problem; It makes no difference what brand, color, or item you're talking about. If you consider yourself to be tall, make sure to order the tall sizes. I ordered the regular size and it was a little too short, so I had to exchange it for a tall, which fits much better. This vest is designed for temperatures between 40 and 60 degrees Fahrenheit; if it gets colder, you'll need to layer or purchase a thicker vest or jacket. Carhartt has come up with yet another fantastic piece of clothing!.
I wanted a high-quality vest that wasn't as expensive as the North Face or Patagonia. Carhartt is a brand I am familiar with. The quality is on par with North Face and Patagonia, but at a fraction of the cost. I understand how important it is for some people to wear high-end labels, but I am not one of them. Quality over quantity is a no-brainer for me. However, the Carhartt label is visible on this vest. That's all right with me. Carhartt is a well-known name in the workwear industry.
