There are no inside pockets, but the chest pocket is large enough to comfortably fit a large smartphone. The vest is of excellent quality and provides excellent comfort. I own vests from other high-end brands, and this one outperforms them all. It does, however, have inside pouches near the waist that do not zip or have any other features.
Carhartt categorizes their products as WARM, WARMER, or WARMEST in terms of temperature. WARM is the only classification for the DENWOOD VEST (102219). I'm growing fond of vests as I get older. Not only for torso warmth, but also for the pockets (ideal for holding a phone). When I work outside, I wear them as a base layer, and when the weather gets colder, I use them as a layer. This one has a fabric that reminds me of neoprene, which is a bummer for me. Another flaw is that the pockets are not sewn into the inside of the vest, giving it an unfinished appearance. Finally, the vest does not fold well (e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , e. g. , for the purpose of transportation). On the other hand, it's not too heavy or bulky, and it provides more warmth than one of my nylon vests, so I'll be able to put it to good use. br>br>The fit is exactly what you'd expect from a brand like this-- meaning a lot of.
UPDATE: The mesh pocket liner, as shown, is the jacket's weakest point. The mesh was purchased in February 2019, and this current photo shows that it has holes. I needed something light and non-abrasive. I wanted a fleece vest that I could wear as an outer layer in the spring and as a layer inside in the winter. That had a certain amount of panache. It's a perfect fit, meaning the shoulders don't hang over my shoulders and the bottom isn't too long, short, or tight around the waist. I chose gray over black because it seemed more casual. It also appears to be of high quality. br>br>It's gotten a lot of positive feedback. br>br>I strongly suggest it.
This vest jacket is ideal for light duty. I dislike big, bulky jackets that make it difficult to move around. I'm always on the move at work, and this vest doesn't get in the way and is very stylish. It's a fantastic purchase, and I adore it.
I like it so far, though I've only worn it a few times. It's a little tight around my chest, but that's a good thing. The close-fitting "core layer" is comfortable and adds insulation to any coat or long-sleeve shirt while also looking great. Inside and out, there are enough pockets. It isn't particularly thick, but it feels solidly constructed, as one would expect!.
Weight vests are ideal for people who go in and out of doors frequently or who "just need a little more" to keep warm. My only "complaint," if you can call it that, is that it doesn't match any of the Carhartt brand scrubs in the "same" color that I own. Hospitals are cold at night, but nurses must still care for patients and find a way to keep warm! My hospital's policy prohibits us from wearing fleece and instead requires that we wear "water resistant" jackets and other similar items. This vest can withstand all of the fluids found in a hospital and can be easily washed for another day of use, so I highly recommend it.
I ordered the same size as one of his Carhartt canvas vests, but this one was just a tad smaller. It was necessary to go one size up.
It's a little early to talk about long-term quality and functionality because I've only had the vest for a few weeks. The chest pocket, collar, color, and Carhartt's reputation for quality are the main reasons for purchasing the vest. So far, the color has been the biggest letdown. It's not charcoal, but gray ash from a briquette that's been burned. As a result, the three-dimensional model was developed. a rating of five stars The fit is a tad snug, but it's not a deal breaker.
