Having to be on my feet constantly is a part of my job as a law enforcement officer. Thus far, these boots have proven to be the most comfortable I've ever These boots are not bulky and provide excellent ankle support. They do not have a particularly broad toe box like the Rokboks, which I also like. I absolutely love these shoes. The fit is snug, true to size and there's barely any wiggle room once the laces are on. Because there is no side zipper, getting your foot into and out of the boots takes a little getting used to, but after a few continuous wearings the leather softens up / breaks in, so they're easier to put on and take Furthermore, I think that the absence of a zipper also makes the boot more stable than all of the previous boots I've owned with zippers on the side. In terms of weight, the shoe is relatively lightweight and the arch support and heel support are I only got plantar fasciitis during one period of time, when I was out on long calls or foot chases.
