In comparison to cold, I did not notice that much of a difference. I've been wearing Rocky Portlands for the past 12 years and bought these recently. I've found a new favorite in these boots. This is the patrol equipment used in Michigan.

According to the statistics, I do not believe so. It doesn't matter which way I look at it, these are the best boots I've ever owned. The construction industry has been my career for 20 years, the USMC for 8 years, and now the fire service for 10 years.
I don't think so, since they won't last long enough otherwise to be resoled.

The period has begun. It was miserable from the moment I put these boots on, not just on my feet, but on my calves. With the shaft of the boot featuring a side zipper, the boot can be easily removed without having to untie the laces. In the case of both legs, the folds around the zipper caused constant pressure points to dig into the leg. My calves are now comfortable with the folds conforming to the shape of my calf after several weeks of wearing them every day. The boots are now more comfortable as a result of this change. Despite the uncomfortability of the insoles, I broke these boots in anyway because it was the only factor that kept me with them long enough to do so. Despite being of average size, I was not weight or size challenged by this test. It has been a rough first month for me so I cannot give a five star rating.
Over the past three years, I have worn these boots every 12 hours of my shifts in a correctional facility for two months. I have never found a pair of boots better suited to the job I do. have tried Magnums, Smith & Wesson, and even Danner boots but nothing comes close. The surface holds up well to a shine. The last time I had to replace the insoles was due to breaking down, and I'll most likely be getting my next pair soon since the sole of the boots is wearing down from being on the metal tiers and concrete floors for so many hours. This is one great pair of boots. I don't understand why anyone would give them anything less than five stars. These were recommended to me by a coworker I now agree with the coworker who said they are the most comfortable boots he has ever worn. In the context of these boots, I don't normally write reviews on Amazon, but someone had to tell the truth. On a side note, I am not qualified to comment on their resilience outside against the elements because I work primarily in.
