The size 8 usually fits me. Males usually wear a 5 or a 9. These boots fit me in a men's size 8. Despite the fact that I can probably wear a 7, they fit comfortably. A perfect fit requires 5 to be used. Please let me know if this helps.
They're also very comfortable, especially for someone like me who walks a lot on shift. Compared to the Rockies I used to wear, these are a lot better. I love the look and the way they feel.
They are wonderful station boots, but they do not meet NFPA standards and do not have the Vibram soles needed to operate in wildland environments.
Unlike steel toes, this footwear does not feature steel. The boots were purchased eight months ago I have worn them constantly since then. I like the way they feel, though they are a little heavy.

My boots completely fell apart after nine months wearing. I am very meticulous about everything I wear and own, so I take good care of everything I It only took eight or nine months for the sole of this boot to start coming off. The shoes I am wearing did not require much walking, as the location where I'm posted does not require much movement, so their falling apart so quickly was baffling to me. However, I hesitate to recommend them, even though they're an attractive pair of.
They are probably the worst boots I've ever worn so I'm calling them "the best of the worst". As of yesterday, I am in the market for a pair of Rockys that I loved This looked interesting, so I decided to give it a shot. I thought I would break them in after removing them from the box because they were so tight out of the box. My feet flew out from under me on day three after wearing them for a week. I got out of my cruiser at a residence, stepped onto the sidewalk and couldn't catch my footing. The rain had been falling, but I never had to worry about my Rockys because they were always dry. Since I thought that maybe it was my fault, I took a closer look at it. I fell almost all the way to the bottom of a set of stairs the next day as I was walking Suddenly, I realize that it has nothing to do with me, it has to do with The next time I get out of my car at the sheriff's office and step on the asphalt, it feels as though I am walking on ice covered roads in the middle of There is no traction in these boots and they will not lace up. It would be an understatement to say I hate them. It was possible for me to return them, but I have gotten tired of wearing them after getting them out of the box. There will never be a second pair of these boots in my life. So I guess I'll go back to my ol' trusty pair of shoes. Let me wish you good luck if you decide to try these out.
To illustrate why I purchased the Thorogood Paratrooper boots, I added pictures of boots I had previously owned. I'm tired of my boots falling apart! You can read my review here. As a first responder shopping for boots, keep in mind that all the other boots fall apart, that you want a leather boot that looks good and that you want durability. To sum it up, I favor the Thorogood Paratrooper. This is Rocky V.
I'm wondering if I want to buy the thorogood paratrooper or the rocky paratrooper. The Thorogood is an upgrade over a Rocky Paratrooper, I can assure you. The Rocky Paratrooper has been on order for a long time at my fire department. However, although they lasted for years, I could never wear them because they would kill my back, they were uncomfortable, my leg would be rubbed raw by the zipper (there was no liner/just leather) and were very heavy. After being a Bates customer for 19 years, I've purchased other brands such as Rocky Wellington's, Rocky zip ups, under armor and I believe there are 11 and beyond. Almost immediately I went back to the Rocky paratrooper, since "they last", but then I got a co-worker to put me on the Thorogood Honestly, I haven't logged too many miles on these Thorogood boots yet, but I can say the outer soles are better, there is an added liner inside around the ankle and leg, and they are more comfortable than the Rocky Paratrooper. Probability is that they are of equal Compared to other people. Does the weight make them a bit heavy when compared to other tactical boots? In short, yes. Does anyone know an alternative boot that is I agree, but these boots are comfortable and I can tell you they will last longer than any other boot. In the event that the boots are a little uncomfortable, simply switch out the inner soles with a quality one, and you will have the best boot you will ever wear. A year from now, my plan is to buy new inner soles. I am confident that I will not need a new pair of boots for two or more years.
The Gen-flex2 boots I wore for the role were provided by wardrobe as part of my role as an extra on a television show. When I saw them, I fell in love, and had to get them myself. I really like how they look. A zipper side makes it easy to put them on and take them off. During the break, you can expect them to squeak fairly loudly. We are working on it. At first I planned on wearing them occasionally in poor weather, but I quickly adapted to wearing them every day. A stylish conversation piece that is both comfortable and sturdy. When you wear short socks, take precautions to avoid a chafing rash on your legs. As a result of the rubbing, I have since purchased calf-length socks.
In the past, he has never wanted to submit a review, but he is so impressed with these boots that he wanted to let others The first pair was ordered over two years ago and this is the second pair. It is barely visible that the first pair has been worn. In addition to looking fantastic, they are comfortable as well. Normally, they are worn every day. Neither pair of these had a break during this time. They are both lightweight and easy to clean, yet they appear to need regular cleaning only rarely. Patent toes do a great job of making these shoes stand out. As a coworker One of our coworkers also ordered a pair for himself, so we told him where we got them. It is my hope that they will still be in business in 2 or 3 years when we place.
My first reaction was that they might be a bit too big (from their appearance), but I was proven I ordered a wide size 12 and they fit perfectly. This means that there are no pinches or crowds. It looks like they would be ideal for office work, and the toe cap isn't overly bulky, despite what you might think from the photos The body is super shiny in comparison to the rest of it. Actually, I think it's fine as it is. A quarter of the day has gone by and I have However, I would like to point out that, as others have stated, there is some squeaking. It's an issue that I'm looking forward to resolving after I break Although I am hopeful that the build quality will be just as good as its looks, if the keyboard does not last me at least four months I will Please note Here's an update My boots haven't been with me that long, but I had to give them back one star due to a design flaw. Noise is part of the equation. When you're outside or in a noisy environment, it's not so bad, but when you're on business office floors, the constant squeaking from these shoes (particularly the right one) is unpleasant and downright embarrassing. Wearing them has become very comfortable after they wore them for a while. But that sound is really irritating. It drives me crazy. I have taken back one star because of it alone. I'm bored *br.
