Since they run fairly true to size, it depends on how you want it to fit. The fact that I like to wear thick socks all day and tend to be on my feet all day makes a half size larger more suitable The worst feeling is having your toes scream at you the rest of the day because you wore a shoe too small for 8 hours!
As is the case with most footwear nowadays, they're made in China. It is very comfortable and I am a big fan of the side zippers. I have the tan Desert boots and am very happy with the boot and price. If I were to buy them again, I would.
I would suggest bringing a box just as you would when you buy shoes

Originally, I would have given this 5 stars because everything about them was great, the fit, feel, comfort, etc. Then, on day 3, the left boot started clicking/popping in the middle when I walked. This sounds like a failure on the sole support. I thought they would be good it really stinks. The other shoe is doing the same thing as well as the first. The potential of these guys was incredible. We are lowering the start to one.
I've worn more expensive tactical Reebok boots that felt better, but these are comfortable enough and for the price you can't beat them. It runs a little bit small, but overall they are fairly true to size. Wearing a size 7 would be okay for me. I wanted a size 5, but I bought an 8 because I figured if they were too small I could add padded insoles and thick socks, which I think will be perfect. When I wore them the first time, I walked two miles on them without padding or thick socks and only had a slight irritation on the outer edges of the very wide areas on my feet, just outside my toes or behind them. For a pair of brand new boots and wearing the bare minimum of soft socks (I had on white gym socks) you can't ask for anything more than this. After putting them on the second time, I experienced almost no irritation and with the same socks, and with insoles padded. The second time I wore them, they had already begun to soften and become more flexible / molded to my feet.
I ordered USA size 8 and it arrived with USA size 7 as shown in the photo, but I have no complaints about it, even though the US size 7 when I try it on it still has half a size remaining so it runs big ? There's no way for me to I wear a size 8 in the Nike Air Force One. This is a sturdy-feeling shirt when I wear it. Probably won't try to walk any time soon.
