I got a heel blister after using these for a few weeks because they were hard to keep tight enough and at the same time allowed slippage up and down. It turned out that this did not happen when I removed the insoles. As a result, the insoles were too soft and the foot moved out of place upon walking. Hiking and riding my motorcycle are two activities I engage in with them. There are no protrusions near where the shift lever presses in their toe, so they have an effective toe for shifting gears. Shifting is also facilitated by the good flexibility of the ankles in these boots. On the front of the heel, they have two rubber grips which grip a ladder rung, but I removed them so that they could slide in a better position. In addition to changing the laces to another type because the originals didn't hold a knot, I also put in new laces. Even though the boots have some issues, I still like them. It is much worse than other boots I have tried.

The last time I wore these was to size them. I bought them several months ago, but didn't really wear them until now. There is a major winter storm hitting Texas at the moment and the forecasters are saying that it will be the worst we have seen in 30+ years, and so far these have held up very well. The shoes are very comfortable, have even kept me warm, and have given me good traction, as well as one can As long as they were there, I wasn't going to have to rely on my regular sneakers. My choice of these is good because they look good with not just jeans but also with BDUs, and they fulfill all the requirements I need from them.

These footwear aren't great for walking or running around in if you're an active person on foot. Good for security guys, but not great for everyone else. The downside is that they are not water proof. The current versions of the headsets are very uncomfortable, but if you have to use it for work they will do.

boots at a great price. I wear them to work today and it feels like I have had them for months. Leather and canvas make a good combination of lightweight and durability. They have eyelets instead of hooks or ringlets, which I particularly like. Rather than having to replace and retie them, it makes it easier to keep them at the perfect fit. It's a good thing they're so durable.

It appears that these boots are well constructed and made of good fabric. There is no way to know until the time comes. In these boots, there is a minimal amount of padding on the sole. Concrete floors are what I walk on all day, and you'll feel it in the bottom of your feet. two other things I disliked about these boots were that they didn't grip wet or damp surfaces. When it comes to safety, these boots are off the charts.

It's a great pair of work boots that is both comfortable and versatile. The shoes aren't as light as I had hoped however, they are fine. Normally I don't like to wear steel-toed boots, but these boots were a good choice. I would buy them.

It is possible to hear a slight popping sound as if a pocket of air is being vented from the sole of the right boot because it has developed a pocket or partial separation of the interior. I find it extremely irritating. There's nothing better than the right boot for the job.
