My hiking takes a lot of energy so I bought aftermarket insoles with a high arch support because they do have slight arch
After being wet, the boot materials don't seem to retain moisture for too long. It has rained several times while they were in the The mud comes off when I wash them (scrub out the dirt), and I have to wear them directly afterwards. Almost all of the boot is made of A synthetic material is used for the toe. A mesh material is used in other areas. It has been proven thus far that they are water-resistant. The boot holds up well and does not let water escape. The boots are comfortable and hold up with a little wear and tear.
However, I'll keep all eyes open! I haven't had a problem yet, but will keep looking out for anything!
Well, I don't know for sure at the moment. It has no metal on the front, but, still, it's a stylish boot

I still wear them today (I replaced the shoelaces about a year ago with 550 cord). The LE work has picked back up again and I've blown thrown 2 pairs of 5 so far. Two years after getting your first pair of Under Armour boots, you have already purchased 11 boots. As soon as I saw these Merrell Moab "tactical" boots, my excitement was overwhelming. The size of the font is 5). fit and feel just like my original Moab 2, comfortable and supportive, with just the right amount of snug in the instep and ankle. Hopefully I will be able to use them for years to come. While they do cost more than other boots (other than Danner), they are well built and will last for quite some.
My job for the past few years has been as a cop. I've walked many miles and stood on my feet for many hours. In addition to Bates, Under Armor, and different Danner boots, I've owned other name brands as well. There is nothing better than Danish food. I have noticed some changes in my police work since I started wearing these Merrells. In the aftermath of a 12-hour shift, it was impossible to take off my boots! During the entire period, there were no breaks. You will not experience pain or discomfort. Nothing to worry about! If I have to choose between Merell and any other brand, I would choose Merell any day! This is the first pair of boots I have ever owned and I am blown away. The patrol boot has been perfected, in my opinion. There are no cons. The shawl is light enough but thick enough to provide amazing ankle support. The shawl is water resistant and has side zippers. It is also very easy to clean, and is flexible, durable, and wear-resistant.
In general, I like these boots enough to keep them and wear them often. I like the fact that they are lightweight compared to my leather During hot weather, they allow my feet to breathe, making them cooler. As some of my ankles start to bother me, wearing these boots all day provides enough support for me. It looks like a good pair. Here are a few things I dislike They are frustratingly difficult to wear. I find that I can't get them on with the zipper on the side, and even with the zipper, they are difficult to put It is a struggle every time. Furthermore, the top pairs of eyelets for the laces are holes rather than hooks, which means when I open the boots enough to put them on, the laces come out, so I have to fish them through the holes to reattach them. You can lace them up. I find it much easier to hook the hooks on my leather boots. As a final complaint, the sole is too thin to protect my feet from the mud A thicker sole would probably increase weight of the boots, but it would make them easier to work in. There is no footwear as good as Merrell's. It would be great if they addressed these problems when they design boots in the future.
I find these boots to be the most comfortable I have ever worn. The boots take a long time to put on, I've had them for about 2 months and wore them in wet snow and my feet soaked immediately. This is not an extremely waterproof material.
It goes without saying that Extra wide is what I ordered because my feet are very wide. I think that these are the very first boots I've had that allow me to wiggle my toes without restrictions. The 13D in 5 is what I buy in general. I wear them for 12+ hours a day. There is a significant difference in fit between these and 11. It looks great, but I want to get a 12, 1/2 this time. I've already had a thread come out of the stitching on the left side, but that's because of the constant friction between my boot and the patrol unit floorboard. I found it to be very The rural areas where I work are quite rural. Having good traction on wet concrete on the street doesn't mean the same inside a prison - prison concrete is different, so I can't really comment on how they would perform inside a prison. I don't know. In order to comply with the policy, I use tire wet to clean these. These are some of the items our Swat unit issues.
It's not unusual for me to be very selective about the quality of my shoes. The only thing I'd change about these boots is that they are the best thing I've worn on my feet since I got my first pair of boondockers when I was It fitted out of the box perfectly, except that I had to order shock soles. Then you've got a whole other thing to deal with. My military and veteran buddies have already asked me about these socks. Their length is perfect, and their arch support is solid. This isn't often the case when I am happy with a product. In order to make certain that the shock insoles would fit flawlessly in the boots, the only real challenge was fitting them with shock insoles I ordered. [To Size Replacement Insoles]****Take the insole and score Do not worry if the size is a solid number or a half measure (or perhaps 12. If your shoe is size 5, you don't have to trim the insole). Trim the material ABOVE the size line, and not at the line. In case the replacement insole doesn't perfectly align with the factory insole, slowly remove the factory insole and replace it one at a time (while not removing the factory insole). As you slip your foot into the shoe/boot, stand with the foot flat on the ground, and allow your full weight to be applied to the insole and stop it sinking. By doing so, the replacement will "mold" itself to the shape of the factory insole/shoe/boot. When you wear memory foam insoles, you need to pay attention to this detail. You can repeat the process with the second shoe or boot. Afterward, carefully remove both insoles from the shoe/boot, and put the new insole back in, making sure the upper ridges are perfect and the heel well is To do this, take your fingers and gently press forward from the mid arch of the shoe/boot until the insole is firmly adjacent to the toe and Adding an extra ten is an extra 10 It takes 15 minutes to work out, but you'll see results that last for many months and years.
The following is for your information. If you get the right size, the shoes fit nicely, are very comfortable, and provide a good It's great to have them around. Their size seems to run almost an entire size or size and a half bigger than their actual size. My height and weight are 9 and 8. Danners and Bates RAT boots in sizes 5D and 9D. The "D" is wide in Merrill, typically a 9D. Chameleons have been an integral part of my life.
I ran these on an 8D, but with these I ran a 9D. Prior to ordering these moab boots I also tried on the normal hiking MOAB 2 at REI and was a 9D to pre-fit myself. Normally, I don't find anything below a 9 in any other brand, so I don't understand why these aren't as good. As for the rest, so far they are great. In a few months, we'll see how well they hold up.
