Metal loops are the spawn of Satan on the top of the instep. Foot problems can arise for some people, but they work and do not This guy is not to be trusted! If you use an angle grinder/dremel to remove the rivet, it will come out quite quickly (be careful, it will be hot metal). These are the best pair of boots I've ever owned after the lining is removed. I know the soles aren't Vibram, but if you're spending $150 on a pair of boots like this, I'm confident you understand what they are for, and if you need something heavier, you should have.

It is a good boot, but very poor in durability

I like the look of this boot for rucking. When I kicked them off the third time, however, the lip of the heal started peeling away. It has been a month since we started using them and the heal is falling I don't think that price tag is reasonable. My plans are to return to Oakley LS.

I wish I had purchased these boots a lot sooner

These boots were purchased while I was serving in the Army. During my first ruck march carrying 50 pounds, I purchased these and wore them for 12 miles. To say the least, it was a risky move, but it paid off in the long run. It's 12 miles and 4 hours later and my feet are the only reason they are hurting, since we were climbing steep hills in Ft Benning, GA in the middle of summer.
These boots are LIGHT, durable, and provide great.

After starting out with the standard issue boots, I got upgraded to the deluxe boots after This is the first pair of boots I ever bought and they changed my life. Since making this switch, I feel like I am running in the shoes, and I feel like I am moving faster. Not one of them needed to be broken Be sure you use either foot powder or moleskin because they WILL rub the bottom of your feet/heels. The rest of the time, they are very comfortable and high quality.

There is no support in these boots and they are extremely stiff and don't break in easily

If the top of the boot is not completely unlaced, putting the boot on is near impossible. Several of my friends bragged about these boots, but I do not recommend them at all. The rocky s2v is still the way to go.
