Questions & Answers

If you need an everyday boot, look for something that won't take you through Hell, but you don't want to do heavy Is this something I would be interested in?

Lightweight boot! I love it! My pair has held up well after being worn day in and day out. A very comfortable chair!

Does this boot have enough traction to be worn on concrete such as the base of a house? What is the wear and tear rate of the tread when driven continuously?

These boots are the perfect choice for hot days on the flightline. They are very light weight and breathe very Rather than replacing the removable insoles with something more padded, I'd swap them out if I stood on concrete. These shoes would not be good in freezing temperatures or on a rainy day.

Would these boots be able to pass through a metal detector without setting off the device?

This boot is a favorite of mine, as I work in nuclear security and own two pairs. This has never set off the metal detectors at our place.

The size of the image is If I have a shoe size of 5 and I want a comfort boot with support, what size should I buy?

This boot would not be a good choice for someone who needs support, as the sole is very thin and light and doesn't support the foot well. normally wear a running shoe that is very supportive, so when I first put on these boots, I immediately added support.

A light and sure touch- A footed shoe
5/5

There are twenty-one An infantryman with five years' experience. I have never worn boots that were as comfortable as these. I have a great deal of respect for Danner boots (and other good ones) The most comfortable ones are these (there are a few other well-known brands, too). This tread is not aggressive like the Vibram lugs I grew up with hunting and Soldiering, and I think that is a good thing (!). Unlike the Tachyon, this tread will be quieter with VERY light footfall, as well as safe for hunting. The far-reaching consequences Back trustworthy in all terrains - from the sand to the forest However, I will stick with aggressive Vibrams when climbing steep, rocky faces or mossy, or when going up wet / snowy rocks. Running in them is incredible, they're light, and I've worn them time and time again. Easy, fast, and silent are some of the features they feature. (which blends in very well with different terrains) I bought just the fabric of the sage shade (not the gore-tex) The leather and the Tex). There's a good possibility that you'll want the leather version if you're constantly in thorns (big thorns like locust or acacia, not tiny nettle stuff) a lot. It took no time at all to break through The issue is not at all a concern. Put on your lace-ups and head out. Like running shoes, they are really like that. Don't worry if the tread drop is near flat, it will still do the job even on muddy, loose rock incline trails. As a Lord of the Rings metaphor, let me tell you this Danner Tachyon boots belong to the elven race, not to the dwarf race. Whether you hike all day or not, these lightweight airy boots will keep you comfortable.

I love this! You can't imagine how much better a day would be without these boots
5/5

From the F/L to an office job with lots of walking, I went back to my former profession. In the steel toe boots that came with my uniform, I wore them. It was a long day for my feet and I was very tired. I received a recommendation from a friend to try these. it's not a big deal. I compare the price to anything on base and it is much cheaper. Upon receiving them, I had them in hand within two It's great to hear from prime! My first instinct was to pick up the box and just throw it away. As far as I was concerned, there were no boots inside My first step was to open it before I became too stressed. As it turned out, there were a pair of them There is no way they can be so light. The glasses have been on my head for about a week. The condition of my feet has greatly improved. Don't hesitate to try them. This is an investment you won't regret.

A lightweight, comfortable and stylish sneakerboot
5/5

Even though they still need to be broken in and the laces need to be adjusted to avoid hotspots, I am overall impressed with the fit and feel of these "boots. " From the moment I slipped them on, I knew my feet would be safe and comfortable for the rest of the day. In parenthesis, I say shoes since these are really better referred to as sneaker boots since they combine a lot of the best aspects of a sneaker and a military boot, which makes them perfect for daily wear shoes. The extra heavy socks and nice comfortable sandals make me think I am wearing nothing but socks and pants. These boots have lugs that are more aggressive than those on a tennis shoe or basketball sneaker, but not as aggressive and deep as those on a These are ideal for the jungles of the suburbs and city. Generally, pavement, grass, and all but the most slick and difficult wilderness terrain should be ok. (Cheap dirt roads, beach sand, lawns, and trails should also be okay. ) It will also keep the lugs clean, so they won't track as many stones or as much mud between them. Unlike most skate shoes, the sole of these shoes is more flat and lacks a raised heel or gentle roll like most others I like. In this way, it is more like a basketball sneaker or tennis shoe, and less like a soccer In addition, the shoe does not roll as well as some other shoes I own

The thin fabric upper does not give me the same support a proper boot does, and I am surprised at just how thin the upper Fabric is a bit crumpled and does not have any stiffness to it at all. As a matter of fact, it really isn't a pro or a con, just a situational aspect. If I need lightweight mobility or when the weather is hot, dry, or muggy, I will use these. As I participate in various active lifestyle activities including hiking, biking, and martial arts, they are just rugged enough to deal with those activities. It would not be more difficult to cover ground faster and farther with these on as opposed These are my new favorites for day hiking in moderately civilized locations, urban or suburban walking since there is no shank and they are constructed of lightweight fabric. But for really rugged environments such as construction sites, they are too delicate to be used on foot. They have a slim design, so I can tuck them into my pants for a casual appearance. Or, I can tuck them into my pants for a great civilian tactical look without looking like I'm wearing hardcore, puffy boots. I won't be wearing these in wet snow during winter, at least not without thick wool socks, because they aren't water tight. This pair of boots is designed to be waterproof and wick away moisture, but let water in and out more easily. In other words, warm environments in a hot, humid atmosphere are fine. Accordingly, they can be worn during the cold or warm seasons, depending on where you live. There are no side zips on these, but it's not a big deal because they slip on and off so quickly, so it's not too bad if you find getting ready for work makes you late, just get up 1 minute earlier! Whatever the case may be, if you're looking for a good pair of sneakers to wear in your urban, suburban, urban, or indoor setting The outdoor area is used for EDC. This would be more difficult for a shoe to survive in rough situations than a pair of sneakers, but not so bulky or heavy as a heavy, heavy, leather combat boot would be. Looking for a daily duty boot that will not fail you if you need to kick in a door, but don't want to traipse through thorn bushes and rusty nails for hours. I suggest you give these a try if you enjoy the look and sound of them!.

It is very comfortable, but not very There is a great deal of comfort in these boots
3/5

I have probably worn the most comfortable pair of shoes of my life, but they are not My current pair of shoes has been with me for a year, but they have started falling apart at about the On the back of my right boot, I have two holes, and on the back of my left foot there is one hole. There hasn't been any deployment or extreme action on my part. worn these boots for office use so I am disappointed considering I paid a good price for them. Based on the comfort level I would consider buying again but I will also take a look at alternative options. A pair like this would best suit people who work a regular office job. People who work in the field should probably search for something else. Winter is not the best time to wear these boots. The shoes are not waterproof, and they do not last very long.

Whatever the situation, whether it's jungle reconnaissance around a hot LZ or stomping through mud in A holes, this is the stuff Almost 12 feet improvement in my vertical jump means I can jump from ground level up on to the top of my RV to wash it without having a problem.
