Questions & Answers
Yes, that is true. This would look even better with the timex watch faces and the bezel numbers. It is still a good buy for both.
The Timex Metropolitan R has a black dial and a silver bezel. So far as I know, the watch only syncs with the Timex smartphone app and the app does not appear to work with any other ecosystems.
For the time being you only have access to watch faces for the Metropolitan R via the smartphone app, at least according to my current knowledge. The company has however continued to add smartwatch versions of various attractive Timex analog watch faces.
It is true. You can remove the band by removing the releasable pins.

This is not the Apple Watch. Apple Watch is completely different from your iPhone. This is basically another device that you would wear along with it. My decision to switch to Timex was based on this rationale. With how expensive these watches are compared to my apple watch, I simply do not want to deal with the daily charging, the weight and the fear that I will drop it and break it. (Which I already have done) Timex is waiting for you! My only requirement is to have access to the time, sleep tracking, workout tracking, and notifications from time to time. As a result of being lightweight and wallet-friendly, this watch meets all those requirements. In addition, with the display off I can get almost two weeks of use from the battery. With the display always on I get about five days of usage. In my opinion, the battery life was the most important selling point. On a 4 day backpacking trip, I was able to leave my Timex fully charged and track my hike with the screen turned off. When we returned to the car, I still had about 50% battery life. For those who are interested in a smart watch that looks like a watch, has a good battery life, and decent apps and notifications, then this might be the product for you. It was a good choice.
A la carte features are only available.
The only change has been to change the strap to a velcro one, as I didn't prefer The screen has also been protected by a cheap screen protector.
My favorite aspect of this smartwatch is how it looks and feels like an ordinary watch, but offers smartwatch features and functions. set it up to display a traditional chronograph watch face that goes on when I move my wrist and a battery saving analog watch face the rest of the time. I use it to track my health data including my nightly sleep patterns, daily steps, and Moreover, I can see the weather, receive notifications of incoming smartphone messages and calls (via Bluetooth), and manage my time as well as countdown timers. The device delivers more than enough smartwatch functionality without taking up too much space.
Timex was a complete surprise to me. I have been a Fitbit customer for many years, and was disgruntled with the Ionic problems and the poor customer service. I decided to try the Timex and frankly was not expecting to like Thank you! I was very pleased with the results! I find this watch to be easier to use and more accurate than Fitbit's products when it comes to monitoring my heart rate, exercise, and sleep. Having access to the Timex app in sunlight makes it easy to look at the face in detail, and the Timex app gives me exactly what I need. The Ionic can't charge as fast and easily as the Volt. Comfortable and not too thick, the watch fits nicely on the wrist. The fact that it looks like a regular watch is also a plus. My only complaint would be that I wish there were more exercise options or they could be customized. The smart watch is great for all other purposes aside from that. There is a great deal of value here, and it works too!.
As a replacement for an aging Garmin Fenix 15, this device will now serve as a multimedia player. In addition to having a long battery life (when not using GPS), basic fitness tracking monitoring, including "on wrist" heart rate monitoring, approximately calorie consumption tracking, and a reasonable price, I wanted a quick charge and a long battery life. I have nearly every need met with this watch/device. While there are many more features on the watch, those are a bonus for me and do not make the device more complicated. Timex Expedition and Triathlon watches have served me well for decades, and the Metropolitan represents even greater simplicity. It is entertaining to be able to change watch faces, but from a practical perspective, I was able to choose a face that displayed the information I most frequently needed by using a method that didn't require pressing multiple Although I cannot comment on the watch's longevity, I can say that it has proven to be as dependable as my old Expedition watch after several months.
Previous to this, I had a Samsung with a battery life of about a day, and it was heavier, slower, and heavier. Compared to the previous watch, this one is much The battery is still on and it's been a week since it was delivered to me. During a run, it tracks my pace, my heart rate, and does not glitch. As well as keeping track of time, it has a course as well. Notifications don't always sync with my Pixel 3a, and that's the only thing that's not great. Possibly the reason is that it is in my pocket. I'm not certain, but The watch is otherwise a very solid piece. Amazfit's $60 cost isn't as cheap as this one, and it does its job In addition to being easy to change, the band also comes in different colors. Despite the fact that it may not have all the features of an Apple Watch, it costs much less than one. As far as price points go, I think this is as good as you can get.
