Questions & Answers

The decent lets me run while listening to music, like my fenix 5. Can I also download music on it?

My apologies for the delay in responding. There is no way to store music files with this device. I appreciate your kind words. Please reach out to the divemaster Chris at 866- It's 728. The Online Scuba Identification Number is 2293

Do you have to use a tank pressure transmitter with it?

As far as air integration is concerned, it is lacking. I think Garmin should have included it as a dive computer since that is one of the biggest downsides of using it as one.

Do you have any experience diving and skiing with this? When I ski, I also would like to be able to track my top speed and runs. ?

I'm unable to ski properly because the skiing feature doesn't work. This app has been used many times, and I get various false readings including incorrect altitudes and impossible Those who ski should not do so. I was able to better track most of my scuba diving except for a few small bugs with the mobile app and the dive-related

It is a great dive computer and it is very accurate
5/5

During the last couple of months, I've been using it. The equipment has been used over 20 times so far. The system appears to be working well so far. My experience with deco is that the instructions are clear and concise. compared the bottom times with those from other dive computers and found they were After getting left behind by my dive group, the compass helped me find them. Additionally, the watch is great as a smartwatch in addition to being a dive computer. The software is on my computer all the time. Besides enabling me to track my workouts and sleep, it also tracks my steps.

Very close to being perfect
3/5

It was great in theory, but it was ruined by poor design choices. Added an edit The heart rate sensor cap of my watch has cracks beginning to form despite never using lotions or sunblock, as well as taking it off when working out (I bought a chest strap for exercising). There is a fault in my watch that could cause my watch to suddenly die underwater if I get firmly underwater (learn your dive tables as a backup during dives). I have attached a photo of the cracks, however they are pretty small and it's hard to get the light just right so the camera can clearly see them. If Garmin can't make a decent cover for the HR sensor, leave it out of the unit we've paid $1,000 for and just supply us with a chest strap. Let's just focus on making a good and durable underwater watch on the Fenix platform, and we'll get rid of the peripherals that will compromise it. It is not a product I would recommend buying. *br*br *br*br_- *An original review was prepared as follows * This watch has a really nice look to it, and it's incredibly versatile for a wide range of activities, like diving, running, hiking, biking, and mountain climbing. You can even program your own workouts. The map function is also extremely useful. The only thing I dislike about a 1000 dollar watch is that the case doesn't use an extraordinarily soft textured metal such as I expect when I spend that much money on a nice watch. You will soon scuff up your pretty new watch if you brush against anything abrasive, like the fur of a fluffy bunny.

You're the best

Before I used a Suunto Zoop, I owned a dive computer by Suunto. Everything went according to plan As an entry-level Entry-level positions at a major company Prices are leveled at this price point It was easy to use, though not very user-friendly I find them to be friendly. The Garmin devices I currently use for other sports are very comfortable for me, and I had dreamt for years that they would make a diving In my opinion, the price isn't so outrageous when you consider the fact that it is a dive computer PLUS a multi-function tool. Watches for sports. Having all of it in one package made it a no-brainer for me since I knew I had to replace my Forerunner 620 as well. I agree with you, AI would be lovely, but it does not matter much - Because I'm not going to install SPG on my new computer just because I got a new one, this is a deal breaker. In other words, I don't really care about my heart rate or where I enter and exit, since I don't "need" to know both. The information is incredibly useful to me, yet I love being able to access it. It's a watch that I can wear on a daily basis, which I can't do with my Although I could not change the Zoop's conservatism level, I set the level of conservatism on my own. You just need to try it out to see how much better it is It is much easier to read underwater due to the brighter screen, so even though the screen is smaller, I find it friendly to use. As I've had it for a couple of months now, I'm beginning to get used to it Swimming, diving, running, walking, and cardio exercises were all performed using it Having done so, I haven't regretted a second of it. Updated

The only thing that drives me crazy about this is I have never seen anything like it before. The safety stop parameters do not seem to have any way to be modified. Normally, this would be fine, but the timer is automatically set to 15 minutes If you are above 20 feet, the protection kicks in before you actually ascend to 15 feet. After that, you can descend by a few feet as long as you stay above 20 feet. The safety stop will pause if you hit 21, so you have to get it going again by getting down to 15. For the life of me, I cannot understand why it does not kick in once you reach Logic says that this should be the case. *BOTH, UPDATED* BOTH, UPDATED A fix has been made for the safety stop bug!.

This software is terrible! I like Garmin, but they need to hire more people to bring their software to the next level! No downloads are available or do not work for a number of downloads
3/5

There is a problem with Garmin pay. In the mean time, I plan to just use my dive watch while getting a Fitbit or Apple Watch for heart rate monitoring. I have a Garmin MK1 and it is quite difficult to use. A GPS and navigation system that is useless is also available. A little bit too Once a week, the timer needs to be calibrated. Despite a strong GPS signal outside, the signal inside is extremely weak. It's not even possible to get a GPS signal underwater. A surface that is easily scratched. To be honest, the battery life is pretty good. There is a watch like this for about This is all I have to say. Although I wish Garmin all the best, let's face it, they aren't ready for the race against Occasionally, the screen is stuck for as long as 15 minutes The time is 45 seconds. As if it were a BMW SUV, this watch is like that. You look good, but if you want to do something off-the-beaten path, you'll have to If you get a 4Runner, it will be a Toyota model.

It would be nice to find out if I just got a bad watch
3/5

This watch is an excellent watch for avid spearfishermen and freedivers like me who have a passion for the water. Since the watch repeatedly went into a state of freezing and restarting for no reason, I must have received a defective product. Many times I restarted and restored the factory settings but still had the same issue. A few hours later, the watch died from a battery drain. Once, the watch got stuck in vibration alarm mode when diving. My heart aches. If I wore it to bed to check its heart rate monitor, the device would first restart then freeze 5 seconds later In the night, I awoke six times. I returned the item to Amazon and got a refund instantly. It would be helpful for me to know if I just got a defective watch or other people are experiencing the same issue It would be awesome if this watch worked properly, but it does not. In the meantime, I'm sticking with F11, which has never failed me.
