Questions & Answers

Can it be used to track how many steps you climb?

This is my third Fitbit watch, in addition to a few others I've had. Fitbits, on the other hand, are far more accurate in recording the number of steps you take. Every time I walk down 50 floors and count the steps myself, I average around 30 steps. I'm pretty sure that's

Which materials are used to make the bands? A leathery material. Are there any rubber products?

With this watch, you get a high-quality silicone band as well

What kind of electrocardiogram does it have?

The heart rate monitor is all that's needed, no EKG

The product did not meet expectations
3/5

Concerning the missing pieces, I reached out to the seller, but no response has been received. Multiple straps, chargers, and so forth are mentioned in the description, however they do not appear to be included. However, I have yet to be able to charge this phone fully. It seems like wireless charging on these devices might be a bit tricky. There's no comparison between buying a new one, which would at least have come with instructions, and this one.

An excellent replacement for the Pebble! Pebble 1 is my favorite device and I have been using it since then
4/5

After moving from an S7 to an LG G8 and seeing the Pebble app disappear from Google Play, the time was right to swap to another.

First concerns was the battery life, which is impossible with In the end, I managed to get a My Samsung device has lasted between 48 and 54 hours consecutively based on how I am using it, which means I can sleep and watch a movie twice before I need to I have gone from 10% to 75% in the span of an hour during charging. For my purposes, this is sufficient. As a power-saver, I run the Always On Display with adaptive brightness and a custom watchface to maximize battery life, and I turn it off when I go to sleep. There is a design in the Watches like that are extremely rare nowadays. Due to the fact that I don't use any form of protective cover on my smart watches, I cannot comment on the The watchface will do a good job of replicating a real watch face at a glance if it has a realistic watchface. Originally, I was going to add a silver bezel cover to the watch so that it would look like a silver watch all the way around, but I was not satisfied about the result. A look at the This wonderful turn of the bezel is a marvelously intuitive action, very similar to that provided by the excellent push-button The layout of the buttons on the Due to the addition of the touchscreen, there are a lot more actions that can be performed. With the exception of a few unexpected watchface changes, I haven't had any problems accidentally using the touchscreen, a huge concern of mine when I originally decided to move away from ** Please note that notifications and calendars are not supported. A feature as good as Pebble's Timeline is unable to be surpassed. If you configure the Samsung to access the calendar quickly, it does an excellent job at it once you set it up. One swipe over is enough to keep my daily appointments, and two swipes over is enough to keep my monthly appointments. I'm impressed with how well it works! Interacting with notifications, such as those offered by authenticator apps, is also a huge trend. Rather than constantly check my phone for credentials, I no longer have to constantly grab it! You can track your sleep and steps here. In this regard, the Samsung does a better job than the Pebble, tracking different exercises as well as automatically producing workout reports for unexpected tasks. I was able to use the Samsung to track my calorie burn while carrying bags of mulch around the yard for a half hour, a pleasant surprise! In addition, the sleep tracker gives you the time spent in each level of sleep as well as in total sleep time. This is especially helpful for finding the best position for sleeping. Having music and calling on the same line. It is not something I have used much in my day-to-day life. The receivers of my voice reported that I was clear and understandable in the testing. As for Star Trek - I am not very comfortable with it Although I feel like the tech is too high (too "geeky"), I know some of you will want to see As for music, I have not experienced it, but I can imagine it will negatively impact battery life. Despite the size of the Samsung being a bit bigger on my wrist than I anticipated, it is still a comfortable watch to wear. I swapped the band for a Horween leather one and it instantly made the watch look better. This watch shares its 22 band size with the Pebble, and with a quick release strap it's very simple to swap bands. One of the biggest complaints I had about the Pebble was that no matter what you dressed it up as, it would always look square and "techy". Despite their similarities, the Samsung can be dressed up and down much easier even though the thickness can restrict one's ability to wear the watch properly with an appropriately sized shirt. The button down is fine, if you want something more casual. It was strongly considered that I should consider the Garmin Fenix 5 series, but in the end it was too expensive and focused too much on sports activities and not enough on business-related activities. There will be emails and texts as well as meetings, appointments, and Teams/Slack messages at a high level. Despite that, it is stunning. My Android device was nothing more than a curiosity to me because the Apple Watch was not on my radar.

The downsides? I. - Due to its low battery life, finding time to charge it without disturbing sleep or work is difficult, especially when you are I. - With no third party apps to customize watchfaces, and with third party watchfaces draining more battery, customization is severely limited. My biggest issue with paywalled watchfaces and watchface apps is that some of them are deceptively pricey, and certain apps on the Samsung watch sometimes require additional fees (licensing fees?). The added cost of purchases is rolled into the purchase price. I. - With Always On Display (AoD) mode, the screen is dimmed (AoD is on in the picture of the two watches side by side) and may be difficult to read in bright sunshine depending on the watchface color, plus AoD cannot be adjusted independently of In short, I am very pleased with the watch and am replacing my old watch with an Amazon Renewed item. I was surprised that the product arrived exactly as described, without any third-party adapters and all the accessories included. The metal parts of the watch were still wrapped in plastic! When they come up with even better Galaxy watches in round 2 I shall definitely keep this in mind!.

The Galaxy Watch is not actually a Galaxy Watch
3/5

I bought a new galaxy watch in-store today and they are totally different from this one. The product looks like a galaxy watch and even looks like a galaxy watch. My phone would sometimes stop working with the application but it appeared to function properly most of the time. Heart rate monitors on the watch I purchased today look totally different from the ones on the watch I purchased yesterday. The Amazon customer service team was unable to reach the Those services are provided by a third You get what you pay for, so don't go cheap. Don't be afraid to spend the 40 dollars extra.

If you do not own a Samsung phone, don't buy a Gear watch because the updated app only works with Samsung phones
3/5

Having spent countless hours on the phone with the customer service representatives, it's clear they don't tell customers before they buy their phones about the issues with the app, and appear to know about them for 5 or 6 months, yet they cannot fix them. own a Google Pixel 3 phone, and with the old version of the app, everything worked fine, and I already owned 3 Google It's currently unfixable because it gives a blank white screen when you tap to sign in to your gear account, and without the gear account you can't update apps, get notifications properly or perform a lot of the smart functions you expect from a watch that costs hundreds of dollars. This new gear sport and the new gear watch 46mm were the two new watches I bought. I've had the techs on the phone work with me for hours, and after they finished, not only did my new phones not connect, but they caused me to reset all my other watches, so I now have 5 watches that don't work, due to a bug in I strongly advise you NOT to buy any Gear watches unless you have a Samsung phone to go with them. You will be extremely disappointed. In an effort to put out a press release, Samsung should let people know that they already know about this issue, and have known about it since at least October of 2018. Others have complained about this issue in other threads, as well. There's nothing smart about these watches without the app, they're just watches without a functional app. I don't know why the prices dropped so much for these watches. They're great when the app works, but without it they're nothing more than My view is that they are defrauding people by allowing buyers to purchase these watches while failing to inform them about their failure to function. Then they asked me to download and upload the log files from my phone and my watch and they never got back to me. They have no clue how to fix the problem, and they always screw up someone's phone and watch trying to play the game of tech support. WARN YOU BEWARE YOU WARN YOU.
