Having spent countless hours on the phone with the customer service representatives, it's clear they don't tell customers before they buy their phones about the issues with the app, and appear to know about them for 5 or 6 months, yet they cannot fix them. own a Google Pixel 3 phone, and with the old version of the app, everything worked fine, and I already owned 3 Google It's currently unfixable because it gives a blank white screen when you tap to sign in to your gear account, and without the gear account you can't update apps, get notifications properly or perform a lot of the smart functions you expect from a watch that costs hundreds of dollars. This new gear sport and the new gear watch 46mm were the two new watches I bought. I've had the techs on the phone work with me for hours, and after they finished, not only did my new phones not connect, but they caused me to reset all my other watches, so I now have 5 watches that don't work, due to a bug in I strongly advise you NOT to buy any Gear watches unless you have a Samsung phone to go with them. You will be extremely disappointed. In an effort to put out a press release, Samsung should let people know that they already know about this issue, and have known about it since at least October of 2018.
