Maybe there is a way, but that is only advertised for users of the Note 3 and S4. An app is available for $10 that will allow you to use it with other phones, but likely not as beneficial as the Samsung Gear Manager.
The software will work with Galaxy 3. and Galaxy 4. It was published on 11/27/2013. I have been told that it will eventually work with the Galaxy 4 mini although it doesn't currently work with it.
It is like having a mobile phone on your wrist. While I think it's amazing, I do believe it can disrupt schoolwork.

It is sure to keep you entertained for a while if you are into technology. I found after some time that it is bulky for a thin wrist like my own. Also, the watch is quite expensive for the quality I got. The fact that you have to click the side button to see the time is a bit annoying. The time is not always displayed automatically when you raise your arm, and for what it's worth to have to do that just to see the time is a bit impractical. After all that, I guess what I like best is the fact that I can play around with the camera, take calls and use voice commands. Initially, it is cool, but then it becomes irritating. Nonetheless, if you're planning to buy a watch you'll wear every day, I would say this may not be the best option for you.
It has been a while since I have made any decisions about this device. My friend first got a Note 3 and one of these when they first came out. My Note 2 is fine, and I see no reason to upgrade to a Note 3. It's been on my wish list since the last update that allowed it to be used with the Note 2 allowed it to be used. The capability of checking who is calling without having to take out my phone alone was worth the price to me after reading some reviews. As many as 100 calls can be received on my cell phone on a typical day. Thankfully, I ordered the gray model that was eligible for Prime. It arrived on a Saturday (one of the many reasons I will always be a Prime member) and I got it up and running in no time. My interest in the gear app was gathered from several reviews on the Samsung website. The setup took quite a while, but once it was done I was online. My pros and cons are as follows Possibility of a fun weekend trip As far as I am concerned, there was no cutting required. I love the fit of the second hole from the end.
Setup was a snap. Since a few weeks ago, the price has dropped dramatically. The screen is large enough for me to see not only my wrist, but also my headset or the Sync system in my vehicle. This allows me to choose one of the available options from the screen, not my phone. There is no need to pull out my Note 2. Thankfully, my battery life so far has been solid and I keep a long workday. It is a little bulky although I use it on my Note 2, which allows me to control play, skip, and repeat last right from it. It was difficult to type on the keyboard of a small device such as a Chromebook because the keyboard kept hitting the keys. This does not allow me to view my text or email notifications. It may be that that feature is not available yet and that I have not done enough research into it. My homework will be done on that and I will update. Since I plan on moving up to the Note 3 in the future, this is an investment that I will continue to use even after upgrading. I know that they will be updating this soon, however, I tend to use my purchases up rather than purchasing the next big thing as soon as it is released. It's all I really need to see who is calling or texting me without having to dig for my phone.
The reason I say this is because it is not waterproof However, that is the only concern I have. I now turn my attention to Watches like this are really great. I like how responsive it is, it is fun to use, and it is Honestly, I have loved this thing and I've had it for a while now! The reason I haven't used it for a while is because I am a diesel technician. The devices I use in my industry must be tough, durable and waterproof. I wear a G-Shock watch almost every day because this is what I need This shocks me. The reason is that they are proven to be durable and made. Nonetheless, I love this watch when I'm going out for dinner or hanging out with friends. It is true that there is a newer version (which I have not even considered purchasing). It still stands out as a great one. It lets you make and receive calls. Answer texts as soon as you can. I've been looking at emails, and a bunch of other things. As for the apps, there are tons to choose from as well. Changing the face of your watch is even possible with one The purchase is a great one! Having it is fun even if it is not totally necessary but I'm trying to learn all the uses of it. I've only had it for a couple of days. The notices I receive via email and texts appear on my phone without me having to take my phone out of Taking decent pictures with it and sending them to your phone for storage is also convenient. Contacts and Phone logs are simple to find and use and it is easy to make and answer calls. If you are a gadget person then this would be a nice thing to have. The Samsung Note 2 includes an S Voice feature that lets me respond to texts easily. It may not be for everyone, but I find it to be a helpful tool.
It took me a little while to get used to this watch. It should be noted that there have been 2 firmware upgrades in the last few weeks, as well as an update to Samsung's I think this watch is now awesome! In terms of motion detection, it works great. Fast and efficient photo transfer (and video to) is possible via the watch camera. This watch has good notifications (the email title is on the watch, so you do not have to pull out your phone), and it is programmable as to what you will receive alerts In addition to an extended Bluetooth range, the battery life seems better than previous models (I can usually go a day or two on a single The look is really cool, and many of my friends have commented on it. Analog clocks suit me better they make me feel more comfortable. Some of the apps are rather limited, but the vino one really stands out. With the watch's camera, you can snap a photo of a wine label and the watch will display its rating and price (on your phone). In case you want to take a peek at the wine label when you get home, the label is stored. The whole experience has been very positive for me. It is important to remember that you are an early adopter of wearable technology if you purchase one of these. Over time, it is certainly going to get better.
