Questions & Answers

Would anyone be willing to share the size of watch face itself? What is the size of this watch? It's 38mm just like the small apple watch. ?

As for the Apple watch, I have the 38mm model and the Blaze. You can turn the apple watch display sideways and it will be the same size as a blaze display. A larger case (it fits at the bottom of the band) is used for the Blaze, as compared to However, because of its lightness and compact design, the Blaze fits comfortably on the arm and doesn't stick out or feel bulky like an Apple Watch would. This footprint has a bigger footprint, however, it is also lighter and less noticeable when you wear it.

Approximately how long does it last on a single charge?

I have owned four Fitbit watches in the last four years, and this is my fourth Blaze. The battery life of these two watches will rival any digital watch. I will be getting rid of each of them as soon as I wear them up. Once this one is worn out, I will definitely check out the Apple Watch. 73 is just too old for the Fitbit and it can't keep up with me This is Ole- My God! In my experience, I know to put the Blaze in the charger in the shower every day to keep it from dying when I'm not expecting it!

Is this fit bit capable of controlling your music? Can you receive a call or text when it's incoming? How does it tell you?

A music selection is available through the main screen (swipe down from the top of the screen, or press the button on the top right corner of the case). It has not yet been used by me. Messages, texts, and other notifications will be sent to you An alert buzzes on the watch when a phone call comes in or when a calendar event occurs. Whenever I get a text, it appears as soon as it arrives A simple swipe from the bottom of the screen makes it easy to view Simply swipe right to dismiss all of them or scroll down to "clear all" to get rid of them all at once.

I always carry my phone with me when I go hiking or running in the outdoors How does the "connected gps" work? Does it only work if I have the app open and my phone is using data?

In the Exercise section, you can run, lift weights, ride a bike, run on a treadmill, or do ellipticals. It's workout time. With the tap of a finger, you can tap the one you want without having the phone near Even without a phone, I am totally in the dark. Even though I use a table, I just went on a short walk outside and it counted my 10,000+ steps and measured my If you use a phone you may be able to get better results. It said the same amount of steps on my watch as it did on my Windows tablet or Windows 10 computer with GPS when I synced up after I got home. Anyway, it seems pretty close to me. The watch displays everything you need to know. It is for this reason that I enjoy it so much. It wasn't clear to me what everything except heart rate and steps would be like.

Selected User Reviews For Fitbit Blaze Smart Fitness Watch, Black, Silver, Large (6.7 - 8.1 Inch)

Are you the one for whom this is intended? When a lot of new watch makers and smart watches are coming to the market daily, will the Fitbit Blaze still be useful? Before this I had the first gen Fitbit Charge HR, and I owned it for two years
4/5

Let's see what to expect. It was owned by my wife and myself. The product does what it says it does, but a few weeks ago it broke down. When I realize I have no replacement, I start looking for one. These were the things that I needed1. Monitoring of the heart 24 hours a day*2. Ensure that the battery lasts a minimum of 3 days*3. A sleep tracking app that tracks your sleep. I would like to see a screen like this. Keeping track of your steps*6. * Distance tracking is available. Watches should be stopped at 8. I don't feel bulky. I will only consider a rain and splash proof option as a minimum.

Additional features that I will consider

1. My watch is water resistant, which means I can swim or take a shower with it. This device includes a GPS module so I no longer need to carry my phone when I jog*3. My first choice was the Garmin Vivo Smart series, but I was intrigued by the Fitbit Charge HR 2. They both met what I wanted, and Garmin actually has the additional features that I wanted. I almost went with Garmin until I started looking at the Fitbit Family of activity trackers. Besides fitbit surge, I learned that fitbit surge will also meet the criteria, although with a monochrome display screen, which makes it feel a bit I selected Fitbit Blaze in the end and after having received it for 3 months and using it for the past 3 months, I am going to write about my experience with Fitness trackers like Fitbit Blaze, which are squarish modules, can be detached from a strap, so you can customize your watch strap to fit your style. Many different watch straps are available for you to choose from that will suit your style at different social events. Watch strap material Silicon with diagonal texture strip. Build quality 9/10
Default watch strap material Silicon with diagonal texture strip. My favorite thing about it is that it does not get uncomfortable even when I wear it during my basketball games and jogging sessions. The lip balm does not irritate my skin, but it may do so for others. As far as the square module itself goes, it seems to be well constructed. There is nothing more to it than a square. It's easy to use, and you won't have to read the manual to get the hang of it. This screen has an 8/10 rating and the use of fancy technology is not evident. Based on specs, it seems like it is a low-quality screen, I agree that it is easy to see the pixels that make up the numbers when the watch is close to the eye. However, we can view the time on our cellphones on daily basis, as long as we glance a distance enough to see the time and the screen is bright and clear. Depending on your needs, you can adjust the screen in four ways - dim, normal, max, auto. As I wanted to make sure the battery would last as long as possible, I chose Dim. While the DIM mode brings the screen closer to the sun, it is difficult to see. The automatic setting can be used in case you need it. Using the DIM mode indoors and in the majority of outdoor situations is sufficient for my everyday use. This device has a responsive touch screen, and I cannot find anything I dislike about it. I am very pleased with the customer service, upon I receipt of my Fitbit Blaze I noticed a small dent at the bottom of the watch and contacted Fitbit Support Team to have it fixed. The company contacted me within a couple of emails and offered to send me a replacement. Normally, it takes 1-2 days for them to make a decision, and about one week for the replacement to arrive. Thanks for taking the time to review my inquiry, I am satisfied with their response. I didn't expect them to make a decision so soon. I was surprised at their speed. The battery life (9. ) is indicated on the screen. In general, smart watches hold their charge for 24 hours. Even the latest fossil Q doesn't stand out. The life of some trackers can be as short as three days, while the life of others utilizing removable batteries can be as long as In comparison, the Fitbit Blaze has a 4 to 5 day battery life. It doesn't last me forever with its kinetic energy, but will have an infinite battery life with future technology. The product was as advertised, and as I expected it to be. My bluetooth is on PAIR mode 24/7, you can choose to turn it off if you wish. For the brightness of my screen, I am in DIM mode. This video got a nine out of 10. Its 5 rating is a feat of victory over garmin and apple watch. In my opinion, the battery life is adequate.
+br>But of course, if they eventually adopt kinetic energy technology, I would expect it to be ten times longer. Feature 8 a list of the available features Fitbit Blaze is one that can be used as both a smart watch and an A list of its features is provided below- Alerts from your smartphone. By choosing your notifications in the Fitbit App, you can tailor them to meet your needs- Although you can control music with Bluetooth, it does not work with another device connected via Bluetooth to your music player. Listening to my music, for instance, was made possible by my phone connected to my Bluetooth headphone. Despite being connected to both my phone and Fitbit Blaze, it will not be able to control the music on my phone. The notification still comes in, though. * * *- An analysis of the VO2 matrix- The Relax Mode - Breathing in - Breathing out - Fitness Star is linked with Fitstar to provide different exercise programs - A mode that lets you track the exercises you do can also be found -

There is a sleep tracker that will separate sleep stages into - awake, REM, light and deep sleep. The tool also offers benchmark and 30 day averages that you can use to compare the quality of your sleep.
br>- There is an app that you can connect to your watch to inject "fun". You could, for example, use an app like Wokamon, a virtual pet app, that will convert the steps taken into experience so you can level up the pet that you are raising within The reason this section did not get a higher rating is that I can no longer control the music when I have another Bluetooth device connected to my music player. Furthermore, I am looking forward to a GPS module and a waterproof rating, so I can use it in the water with no worry. Having GPS on my phone is the only thing I need to do to use this application (9/10)
The rest is very I like the easy-to-use interface and the options available to change the settings. On the Fitbit App, you can arrange the stats in the order you want to see them. Connecting with your friends and earning badges can be motivating, especially when you have plenty to look forward to. Last but not least, I would like to see an integrated mic so I can take voice notes with the tracker and reply to voice messages on my phone however, I realize this would move the tracker closer to a smartwatch. There is no doubt that Fitbit can thrive in that arena as well. As it turns out, I made the right choice. While it doesn't have advanced features like GPS and water resistance, it is still a good day-to-day tracker and a semi smart watch for a reasonable price. Anytime I want, I am able to change the strap. It can be used for work or for sports. The customer service I receive from them is satisfactory, even though some might My heart rate monitor will never be 100% accurate, but it allows me to begin to recognize abnormal heart rate activity in me to allow me to take action. I will never know if it is the most accurate, but I know for now, nothing can be 100% accurate. In the event that you were a past owner of the Fitbit, this would make a great I found the app just as useful as before. The price tag is hard to beat when it comes to the value. As for my opinion, it seems to me that this is meant for people who have moderate activity levels and not A well-being monitor is intended for monitoring your health With enough features to make it a semi-smart watch, it encourages a more active lifestyle by encouraging a more active lifestyle, and it has an outlook that encourages being active. What's the point then? Several of my reviews have been helpful to people who have made a decision, so please mark the "Helpful" button if my review has helped. Besides telling Amazon that people do read such reviews, it also encourages them to do so! Thanks so much!.

Check out this in-depth review! Fitbit is a great fitness watch that I cannot say enough nice things about
5/5

Since I will be going into profound detail in this review, I apologize for the length of the review.

First things first. The watch is not designed to be like the Apple Watch! Having said that, I understand they may think, "Well, I can get a refurb apple watch or an apple watch on sale at Best Buy for $50 more. ". I have both watches, so I can at least point out some differences between them. A fitness tracker is the way to go if you want to track your progress. You may not want this watch if you want to gain some workout benefits in addition to organization.

Here is a description of what it does to simplify the product description. Besides tracking your heart rate, steps taken, stairs climbed, calories burned, active minutes, miles, exercise, and sleep in real time, the watch also tracks your sleep patterns. In addition to counting calories and tracking weight and water intake, FitBit can also help you keep track of calories consumed (works with apps such as MyFitnessPal, Weight Watchers, etc. ). There is also an option to set a goal in the app that allows you to determine how many hours of the day you want to take 250+ steps each hour, but the app does not remind you to move in order for you to meet that goal (See 10/19/16 In addition, you can set your watch to receive notifications from your phone, such as text messages, phone calls, calendar reminders, and control your iPods, iPhones, etc. With this, you can immediately see messages on your watch as well as manage your music. The watch is not able to send photos or emojis as of the time of this review. According to this review, this watch has four types of faces, you can set it to your dominant or non-dominant wrist, you can still set the silent alarm, and it syncs with your phone all day too. It also has FitStar workouts built-in. The pros include I. - Monitoring of the heart rate in real time. I. - In daylight the screen is bright enough to see clearly. A light that automatically dims and lights up based on the conditions of the lighting. I. - The Face comes on when it detects your wrist is turned toward The majority of what is written here is I. - The battery charges fast. I. - Realistically, a single charge lasts up to three days Normally, it lasts for 4 days when you don't have notifications turned on, but it might last for 5 days if you don't. I. - An elegant design makes this watch seem like a nice piece of timepiece. I've heard a lot of people asking, "So how do you like your Apple Watch?" It turns out it is not an Apple Watch, and I have to explain that to them. While this watch is continuously compared to the apple watch, it does have some pros compared with it. The cons are I. - It is not comfortable to sleep with, especially while wearing the band. On the side of my wrist, the buckle digs into my hand. I'd like to see a soft silicone band without buckles like the Apple Watch. Up to date November 26, 2016 It is not uncommon for several companies to contact me and ask me to try their bands. In all cases, I've worn the Milanese style bands, and I've been affected with severe hives/break outs on my wrist from some of the Chinese bands, one of which required a prescription cream. It is difficult for me to know what chemicals they are using in their metals because I don't have issues with metals in general. The magnet on one milanese band has never slipped on me during frequent wear, and the skin issues were never an issue with this band. The product I purchased on Amazon was around $30. This is something to watch out for. Lastly, silicone has finally been produced. It appears there are bands that do not have a buckle like the Apple Watch band. I ordered one today and it will arrive soon. It has so far been a good experience. All other bands I've worn have been much less comfortable than this one. It should be noted that this post is NOT an affiliate link or sponsored in any way. This watch does not feature a "reminder to move" function as of the date of this review. A band with this feature is considered a basic essential. Upon reading, I found out that FitBit plans to provide a firmware update to allow this in the future, but it does not provide this as of yet. Up to date Today, October 19 In a recent update to the Blaze, Fitbit added a "reminder to move", yet I find that it is If you haven't gotten 250 steps in on the intended day of moving 250 steps or more, it is going to remind you that it is time to move 10 minutes before the hour. In addition to setting a reminder to move during designated hours based on how many steps you want to achieve in a day, I would like to see some options to do that. Therefore, if you would like to reach 10k steps between 6am and 8pm, set a time of reminder (10 minutes or 15 minutes before the hour) for it to remind you if you did not get 714 steps each hour to reach your As another option, I would like to see a reminder for things you need to do if you've been "sedentary" for more than X A fitness tracker that buzzed after 10 minutes when you were sedentary several years ago was something I owned. As long as you are walking and not sitting, you can keep the heart rate elevated. This function would be great for people with office jobs where they The fact that Fitbit is working toward the solution of having reminders to move is encouraging, but I do not think it is fully developed * * *- It is a bit annoying to have to charge your phone. There is a proprietary charger for FitBit, so you cannot use a standard power cord to plug in your device. If you want to put the face of the watch in a box, you must remove the band from it A charger in the form of a frame. Since Apple Watches come with magnetic chargers, I hoped something similar would be available for the Apple Watch. As an example, this watch does not have an app store, does not store music, does not let you perform face time, send photos, or respond to texts Camera controls on your phone are not available from the app. to function as a fitness watch, but it is not a smart watch. It has basic smart watch features, however. Having used both watches, I have gotten essentially identical results. In fact I have tested this on one wrist and my Polar heart rate monitor watch (with chest strap) on the other wrist when working out. *****IF YOU WEAR THIS WATCH ON YOUR WRIST BONE, YOUR READINGS WILL NOT BE ACCURATE<extra_id_9>*** If you don't like to wear watches on that part of your wrist, this may not be the watch My watches normally fit loosely, so my adjustment was to become used to this watch. There is a possibility that the face would scratch easily. While I haven't had a problem with it so far, I did have some glass screen protectors on it, and they both took a break with my watch within a short period of time. However, I haven't noticed any scratches on the watch face. The following review is intended to help. Although I think I did not miss anything, I'll update it in the future if there is anything missing.

The plant has 14 months left to live
3/5

About a month ago, this rating held a 4 star rating. In the meantime, my Blaze had been great. In addition to wiping it at work and home every day, I do laundry regularly as well. Each band was bought for a different occasion. There were only a few complaints I had, such as a dearth of options or color combinations for the screen display. Furthermore, it gets annoying to keep on spinning the wrist repeatedly to get the time to show up. My Timex timepiece, though, has never failed to show the time regardless of how long I have owned it. Whatever the case may be, I was still a Fitbit Blazer aficionado. I bragged it up at work, beating the Apple watch folks in a smack talk about how great the Blaze was over the Apple watch. In addition to my new company, I sold a number of other items Workers in the Fitbit can be tracked in It doesn't matter what I do, all I can do is watch it twitch through the I turned it on for a few seconds, then it rebooted and vibrated as if in some kind of a Russian hack induced coma. The customer service representative said that was a bummer, so very The company will give me a discount coupon for a new one because they gave me one in Feb 2016. My warranty will only last for one year, however. Do you mean that I should believe you? A second one, too? Putting $200 on fire and watching it burn for 14 months is like lighting a fire, but not getting to extinguish it for 40 years! The opposite is true! There is a good chance Timex will come up with a watch I'll enjoy for $40 and for.
