At the Daddy Daughter Dance, it was a unique look that drew a lot of attention. I took the jacket to be altered for a more tailored look (personal choice) because the color was nice and it looked nice. The item arrived a day earlier than expected, in excellent packaging and condition. My daughter was overjoyed, and we were dressed to the nines, in my opinion.
I saw this jacket in person and fell in love with it, so I ordered one. However, I was preoccupied with sizing for weeks. What is my takeaway? Do not be concerned. One, the item is true to size; you will not go wrong if you follow the sizing chart. I kept reading reviews that said they went up a size or two. I can only conclude that they either mismeasured their body or prefer to dress in large sizes. Believe those who say it fits true to size; how do I know? br>br>Well, I ordered a large, and it fit me perfectly. Despite the fact that my calculations indicated that a Medium should be ordered. So I exchanged the large for a medium, which was a perfect fit. That brings us to the second reason why we shouldn't be overly concerned. The return policy on Amazon. Finally, this jacket is very nice, both in person and in pictures. I'm looking forward to wearing it to the holiday party at work.
This order arrived just in time for the Gala, and I'm a big guy. I saw a lot of photos of smaller guys, but when I saw my size on the size chart, I decided to go for it (3X). I ordered an XL because it looked like it might be too tight. The XL has a good torso fit, but the sleeves are too long and need to be folded or rolled up. My concern is that the fabric may be prone to fraying and loose threads. The jacket, however, is fantastic.
According to the chart, I am a 46 regular size, and I normally wear a 44 regular size. The product arrived quickly, in a soft package that required careful ironing, but even so, the size was inadequate. In reality, it's a 42-inch waist. So, if you're ordering it, order four sizes larger than your usual USA size, or you'll have to lose weight or return it. br>It's also a little short in length, likely because it's a Chinese product designed for small, short people. If they have, order something taller or longer. The image is deceiving!.
I wore it to a company party, a wedding, New Year's Eve, and, of course, rocking out with my band this past holiday season, and I received more compliments on it than on my singing. It's my first "trim fit" jacket, and I'm blown away by how well it fits! Even the sleeves are fashionable. I'll probably get the blue one as well (I'm 6' 5")!.
