This is a gift for my son, who has never purchased a suit before. He stands 5'10" tall and weighs around 150 pounds. I'm not sure what size to order, so I'd appreciate some advice. ?

At six, he should be able to wear whatever his true waist size is. So, if he has a 32-inch waist, you should get a size 38. Now there will be a 38S, 38R, and 38L, which stand for short, regular, and long, respectively, in terms of sleeve length. I'm 5'11 and wear the regular, which is shortened by about half an inch when it's tailored for me. People can have short or long arms that are proportionate to their body size. Unless your son's arms are extremely long, I recommend getting the size S. So, if his waist size is 32, I'd get a 38S. The sleeve length may fit perfectly and not require tailoring, but the pant leg will almost always require tailoring.

A 44 long is what I'd like to order. How big are the pants that go with this jacket?

It comes with a pair of 38W pants that you can have tailored four sizes smaller or two sizes larger. The length of the pant is also unfinished, so you'll be going to the tailor in any case.

What percentage of the time does the fit seem to be accurate? I'd like to order a 48 short, but I'm not sure what size the pants are. ?

Look at the description in the sizing section to find out what size the pants are. It's worth noting that the description says "slim fit."

Although it required some tailoring, I am pleased with the overall result and believe the value for money was excellent. br>br>The pants are definitely slim fit. My normal dress pant size is 36, but I decided to go with a size 38 just to be safe. I'm glad I did because there's not a lot of room in these things.

My fiancé, on the other hand, preferred loose-fitting, long pants. We may have to take the vest and jacket in a little bit because they fit so well. The pants, on the other hand, will require a lot of cinching.

The fit is perfect

Not only did this suit look great, but it also fit me perfectly. I still wear it every now and then when the occasion calls for it, despite the fact that it has been a few years. It still fits because my weight doesn't fluctuate much. It's one of the most comfortable suits I've ever worn, and it's well worth the money.

It's a nice suit, but it's a little tight on the waist

It's a nice suit, but it's too small for us, so we had to return it and reorder it. Both times, I arrived days ahead of schedule! My husband looked fantastic in this suit, and I'll be ordering him a few more. If you're not particularly slim, go up a size; we only had to have the pants hemmed.

You'll need it tailored (but you already knew that if you're familiar with the buying and wearing of suits). The product/material is nice, and the fitting guide is spot on (if you have any doubts, get measured by a pro). I got it for free from Men's Warehouse). It's slim fitting, so not everyone will be able to pull it off, but if you can't, the vest and jacket can be adjusted to fit your body shape. Adjustments can be made to pants as well. The color is fantastic, and the finish is fantastic as well. If you need a quick suit for an event and don't want to spend more money on something you'll never wear again (you know who you are), this is a steal of a deal. Before I bought it, the seller was great and promptly answered all of my questions. Love it! In the coming months, I'm hoping to get a blue one.

Pants were the wrong size, and I didn't get a vest; I ordered a 44-inch suit, but it came with 38-inch pants

br>I received the correct jacket (44), but the pants are clearly not 38; they are labeled 42R, 36W on the inside. br>Both the material and the construction are satisfactory. There was no vest in the box. Be careful who you buy from.
