Upper and outsole are both made of synthetic materials. Designed in China
I have them, but they don't come with the opener; however, there is a pair that comes in black and blue and does have the opener; however, I can't recall the model name.
I'm not sure what I'm saying. I'm a woman who wears an 8-inch shoe. In general, men's shoes have a rating of 5.
These Reef Anchor flip flops don't come with a bottle opener.

I needed a pair of flip flops to leave at home in Mexico and one to leave in the United States, so I ordered Reef Anchor and Reef Fanning flip flop models on the same day. I read reviews for both but couldn't find any comparisons, so I decided to buy them both and see for myself. br>br>On the part that touches the bottom of the foot, the Reef Anchor has a memory foam feel. They are comfortable to wear and do not cause my feet to become crooked. The heel support is excellent, though not as strong as the Fanning. The Fanning flip flop fits well (one foot slightly off-kilter) and provides good support from the air cushion in the heel, but the part that touches the bottom of the feet is perhaps a little too firm. br>br>Honestly, I like both the Anchor (this review) and the Fanning flip flops, but I decided to take the Anchor flip flops to Mexico because the entire house is tile and the softer touch on the bottom of the foot without the clicking of the bottle openers will be beneficial. br>br> In the United States, where I walk on a mix of tile and carpeting, I'll keep wearing the Fanning flip flops. br>br>I don't think you can go wrong with either, but if you want something a little softer and don't need the bottle openers, I'd go with the Anchor flip flops.
Because of my positive experience with their Swellular Lux flip flops in 2014, I decided to purchase a new pair of Reef flip flops. Water is a dreadful thing to have to deal with. The Swellular Lux was extremely friendly and comfortable. By the way, despite the fact that my Swellular lux is on its last legs, those flip flops are still in good shape and fit comfortably after 6 years. br>br>As for this Reef Anchor, I wish I could praise it as highly as the others, but I can't. To begin with, I notice that it has an odd shape when it is on my feet. It doesn't seem to follow my foot's outer curves. This pair of flip flops also appears to be designed for people with feet that are extremely NARROW in width. I usually wear a US size 10 medium width in sneakers and a US size 10 medium or wide width in dress shoes. This pair of Ancher flip flops in size 10 were a perfect fit for my feet (see photos and pardon the un-polished finish). Foot photos that are photogenic, to be sure. Because these were my first Reefs, my Swellular Lux is a US size 11. Because they appear to be a little too big, I went with the US size 10 for these Reef Anchors. br>br>My second complaint is that the left side arch support rubs against my feet. This discomfort does not exist on the right side, but it does on the left, where the arch support and strap are contoured a little too high. Because I don't have flat feet, these arch supports shouldn't be a problem for me. This was also not an issue with my Swellular Lux. br>br>These Anchor flip flops look great, and I'm sure they'd be very comfortable on the right pair of feet. However, I am unable to wear these flip flops. I wish they were a little wider and didn't hurt my left side. br>br>I wish I could return these for a more comfortable, water-resistant pair. Reef sandals that are eco-friendly because I've learned to trust Reefs' durability! Is it possible that Reef customer service will contact me and offer some assistance?.
I've bought a new pair of reefs almost every summer of my life, but this is the first time I've bought a narrow pair. When I compare them to my previous reefs of the same size, they are about 1/2 inch shorter and 1/2 inch narrower, which leads me to believe they are knockoffs, but hey- Isn't this the aquarium shop? Strange; otherwise, they're comfortable, but man, are they narrow.
I usually buy the Fanning brand, but these are a little cheaper, and I don't use the bottle opener on the Fanning model's bottom. After putting these on, my first impression is that the material is a little softer or squishier than the Fanning Model, making them a little more comfortable. However, I'm not sure they'll last as long as the Fanning's did. Also, the arch support on this Anchor model is better than the Fanning, but the air cushion appears to be smaller, which could reduce the lifespan. br>br>Overall, I'm pleased with the transition from the Fanning to this Anchor model, but I'll have to wait and see if they hold up as well as my Fannings. About two-thirds of the time, I get two-thirds of the time. I've had my Fanning's for three years and still wear them on a regular basis. With this Anchor model, I'm hoping for similar results.
I wanted my next pair to be more comfortable and supportive for the frequent walks with the dogs, so I looked for that in my next pair. I didn't want to deal with the bottle opener gimmick because I'm not going to use it, and I needed fully waterproof sandals. I chose these Reef Anchor sandals after doing a lot of research and reading reviews. So far, I've been very pleased with them. They are without a doubt the most supportive and comfortable flip flops I've ever worn. They were a little tight at first, but after a few weeks, they've loosen up considerably. I didn't expect the band to be as purple as it was, but I like it.
I also own a pair of reef sandals. These, as well as the rest of my clothes, are size 11. This pair was at least a half-inch smaller than the previous pair. I sent the question and photo to reef four days ago to see if it was a fluke and whether or not I should exchange. There has been no reply.
Because I had to order a size up, I gave it four stars. I am a twelve-year-old girl. I needed to go back get a 13. & They're heavier than my previous Reefs because they're bigger. Because the bottoms are similar to sneakers, this is to be expected. However, because they're heavier and I'm heavier, I expect them to last longer. I'm 6 feet tall and weigh 235 pounds. They're extremely comfortable. The heal area, in particular, is cushioned. They also have a fantastic appearance. That's a lot of praise coming from someone who despises the color gray.
I bought these because they had good reviews and I wanted to take them on vacation with me. I can no longer wear them after a couple of days. The straps have sunk so deeply into my feet that I prefer to wear something else. I'm not sure if the synthetic material used here was of poor quality or what, but I strongly advise against using it as directed.
