Questions & Answers

I'm curious about the sandal's length. ?

They are an 11 and I wear a size 10 in them. 5 in. (29 cm) 2 cm down the center line, measured from bottom to top.

When it comes to sandals, I usually have to size up, especially when it comes to other surf brands like Reef. Should I increase my ohana's size?

Sizing up is a must. In Reef, I'm a size 10, and in Olukai, I'm a size 11.

Is it possible to wear these with flat feet and still be comfortable? Is the weight of them significant?

They're very comfortable, and they provide just enough arch support for my moderately flat feet. Also, it's not too heavy. Yes, they're more substantial than the el cheapos I've worn in the past, but they offered no support and frequently resulted in aching feet. My feet are comfortable in the Olukai sandals.

Is this better than Vionic for arch support, if anyone knows? Joe?

I've tried both, and the Olukai aren't any better for arch support than the Vionic; the Vionic is a great sandal, but the Olukai are better all around, and I wish I could still wear them. They're the most effective.

These flip-flops have a unique design
5/5

My vacation was saved thanks to flip flops. I adore these flip-flops / sandals. flops. $64 was the amount I paid. I paid $99 for them because I needed to get to Guam for a three-day trip. I recently received a diagnosis of plantar fasciitis while on vacation for a week. When I'm on Guam, I like to wear flip-flops. I'll be wearing flip-flops the entire time I'm there, as well as my other flip-flops. Flip-flops would have made me so uncomfortable that my vacation would have been ruined. These were the flip-flops I used. I wore flip-flops for three weeks and didn't have any pain! They had a great time. After it had rained, my son and I went on a two-mile hike, which I completed in these flip-flops. flops. My son, too, was dressed in flip-flops. He was slipping and sliding all over the place in his flip flops. These flip-flops have a unique design. I was blown away by how well the flip-flops held on. I walked over lava rocks with them several times, and you wouldn't know it by looking at the soles. I even took them into the ocean and thoroughly cleaned them afterwards, hoping that the salt water wouldn't damage them. They still look as good as when I first bought them after three weeks of use. Despite the fact that they were comfortable right out of the box, the soles molded to my feet over the course of three weeks and became even more so, which is incredible. I'll admit that if I hadn't been in such a desperate situation, I would not have paid $64. A pair of flip-flops costs $99, and they are available in a variety of colors. I used to buy flip-flops, but I'm no longer willing to do so. I told my wife how happy I was with the flip-flops. She said I should have bought her a pair of flip flops for our trip, but she said she wouldn't because of the price, which is what I mean when I say the price and being desperate. I was not compensated or offered anything in exchange for writing this review. I read Amazon reviews to help me make purchasing decisions, and I am so pleased with these flip-flops that I wanted to share my positive experience with them. flops.

This is a fake
3/5

While these sandals are branded OluKai, I am certain they are not. I am a die-hard OluKai fan who has owned several pairs in my life. Counterfeit to the nth degree! It's clearly made on the cheap. Something that a die-hard fan like myself noticed right away. Make sure you don't throw your money away. I had just left a flip flop shop where I had purchased a brand new pair of genuine OluKai's when the store owner took one look at mine and agreed with me that they did not appear to be genuine.

A complete waste of money
3/5

I've had these for about a year and have worn them 20 times. I only wear them at the pool, and they are now falling apart; I previously owned Olukai sandals, which lasted years and which I wore almost every day. br>If you're looking for a sandal, I would say don't waste your time buying these. I'd return them if I could, but it's been far too long, and I'm now out $60.

PSA - Take a look at the comparison of sizes! Okay, these are nice and comfortable
5/5

They also fit well. But that's only because I went up a size! br>br>I used to have a pair of these that were extremely comfortable and lasted a very long time. And now that I think about it, they were a size 11, because I prefer them to be very large and loose. I'm a size 10 and it fits me just fine. br>br>The main issue with the others, such as Flexi/NB/Vionic, is that the heel almost touches the rim, which is extremely uncomfortable. br>br>Begin with the size: all of the photos are M, standard (non-retouched). wide).
8 - Running shoes manufactured by ASICs.
8. 5 - Flexi (they were purchased in Mexico). They are a little small, but not too bad in terms of comfort. There isn't much arch support. br>9D - Whisky New Balance Pinnacle Flip Flop for Men. It's too small and crowded. The arch support is adequate, but not quite as 'tough' as the Vionic.
8 - Tide flip flop sandals by Vionic for men in brown. It's far too close. It's difficult to maintain arch support. Note that the above version is a little softer. On the second image: br>br>
8 - Running shoes manufactured by ASICs.
8. 5 - Flexi (they were purchased in Mexico). They're a little small, but not too bad in terms of comfort. br>10 - They don't have much arch support. Men's Olukai Ohana Sandals in Dark Java/Ray. These are the winners: nice, comfortable arch support. Later on. br>br>.

Don't be fooled by the name or the positive feedback
3/5

I had been wanting to purchase these sandals for a while and finally did so after reading so many positive reviews. Why not give them a try since I was in Mexico for the beach? br>br>Well, after two uses (yes, you read that correctly, TWO), the sole began to tear apart. I'd worn them to the beach, and it appeared that the sun and heat had begun to de-hydrate them. gluing them together WTF? br>If Olukai brags about Hawaii and wearing your sandals on the beach, you'd expect them to be able to withstand the most basic of environmental conditions, right? br>Also, with these, I had a couple of other issues: 1. br>br> They were wet (obviously) after their first beach outing, so I dried them out in the open air (away from the sun). Let me tell you something. Even after washing the straps with gentle soap, they have developed a stench that will not go away.
2. As a pair of 1-year-olds, The strap has a terrible design that cuts the tops of your feet, according to star (real) reviews. It happened to BOTH of my feet as well (I won't post pictures of my feet, but you get the idea). Because of the sun, sand, and sore sensation, it's even worse when it happens at the beach. br>br>The bottom line is that if you're going to spend $75 on a pair of sandals for casual-wear, make sure they're comfortable. Why not give them a try for indoor (but not heavy) use? I can't recommend these if you're going to use them at the beach or if you wear sandals all the time in all kinds of weather. br>br>It's ridiculously overpriced and hyped.
