Selected User Reviews For Reef Men's Sandals, Santa Ana Flip Flops
I purchased these because my wife has previously owned Reef sandals, and I am familiar with their quality; the sandals are as described, and I, like other reviewers, find them quite comfortable to wear. They do not appear to be slippery when wet, unlike my previous pair (though I have yet to take them to the pool). ) One oddity is that these are labeled "size 11," but they are the same length and width of sole as my two previous pairs of size 11s - so, good. The over-the-top strap on these size 11s, on the other hand, is noticeably tighter on my foot than the strap on the two previous pairs (not from Reef). It's enough for me to get my foot in the door. The strap, on the other hand, feels a little tight around the foot.
They don't seem to go together. Many pairs of Reefs I've owned over the years have a firm, secure fit, but these are loose right out of the box.
I've previously owned and enjoyed other pairs of reef sandals. The Santa Anna sandals, however, were not like that. They were extremely uncomfortable and appeared to be of low quality.
When I was in college, I had a pair of these, and they were well-made. Unfortunately, their quality standards have been lowered, but they are still quite good. They'll probably last 18 months if they work 10 hours per day in Florida.
These flip flops are very appealing to me. They're extremely relaxing to wear. In the majority of situations, I prefer them to my Birkenstocks. I can walk up and down hills for several miles without tiring out my feet.
For the past 15 years, I've been purchasing reef sandals. They are pricey, but they are also extremely comfortable and long-lasting. At the moment, I have three pairs. There will never be enough!.
These are just on the cusp of being barefoot, as they fit perfectly and provide complete arch support. My new favorites, and they're reasonably priced!.
With my narrow feet, I couldn't even walk through these.
