In northern Canada, where I fly bush planes, Sorel boots are well-known for their warmth and durability. You will not be disappointed if you purchase these boots.
These boots are perfect for my flat feet. True to size, but a little wide, with soft insoles. Your feet will adapt to the boot.
The weight of the shoes should have been specified in the product specifications, and I do not have one for you. They aren't too heavy to wear and are actually quite light.
I don't believe so, but if you live near a DSW shoe store, I suggest you pay them a visit. They do carry the Sorel brand, which I believe makes a difference because the boots are a little larger than advertised.

The stitching on the inside of the boots was bunched up and not properly connected in the first two pairs I ordered, so they were defective. It was a pain to return items. br>br>I finally got a pair that was properly sewn, but they're uncomfortable and hurt my feet after only a few blocks of walking. This pair of boots is a tad on the heavy side. They're warm and waterproof, but given the two defective pairs, I'm not optimistic about their longevity. br>br>I've had good luck with Sorel boots in the past, so I'll give them another chance, but I'm sorry I bought these. Because the replacements took so long to arrive, I didn't feel like I had time to return and shop around by the time I got the third pair. So I kept them, despite the fact that I despise them. br>br>My recommendation is to get a new boot. If you do decide to purchase these boots, make sure to inspect them thoroughly when they arrive.
For work, I required a waterproof boot. I was going to be outside for the entire day and needed to stay dry. br>br>They were great for the first two weeks, but then the rubber part seemed to rip off, and I'd only worn them 9 times. br>br>For the money, this is a ridiculous situation - I wouldn't suggest it.
To accommodate heavy socks, you should order a half size larger than usual. I tried it out and found that it can hold two pairs of shoes. The inside is padded and the shoe is very sturdy with excellent ankle support. In terms of warmth, I'll find out when I travel to Norway next month. On the sole, there is a deep tread. In the snow, it appears to provide excellent foot protection and footage. It will fit over jeans, but they will become wet as a result. The laces can be adjusted to fit any size. I despise taking them off because I adore them. Note- On Amazon, it appears that prices change frequently. You can keep an eye on the price of the pair I bought, which fluctuated between $75 and $110.
When we had a 10-inch snowstorm a couple of Fridays ago, I was able to put them to good use. I was a little concerned because I ordered the same exact size as my regular shoes, but the boots gripped well in the snow and ice and fit perfectly. Even with thick socks on, there was still plenty of room. When I was a kid, my father used to buy me Sorel boots for hunting. They're still great boots for fishing!.
These boots have received some negative feedback. Why? I have no idea. One person mentioned that the paint on the back of the boot peeled off too easily. Which, I'll admit, happened to mine, despite the fact that these are winter boots designed to be worn outside in inclement weather. If you're just looking for a fashion statement, I'd suggest looking somewhere else. In cold and wet weather, these boots perform admirably. They've been with me for about a month and a half, and I've worn them out walking on some cold New England days. They provide excellent warmth to your feet. If you're out walking for an extended period of time on a day when the temperature is in the upper 30s, your feet may become too warm. These boots are fantastic. I had a pair of Sorel boots that were similar but were a bit shorter. Regrettably, they have ceased to exist.
I usually wear a size 11 to 11 1/2 in shoes and a size 12 in boots, and these are too small for me. The toe box is tight on the size 12 that I ordered. The lace loops are unsatisfactory; the top two or three should be hooks to make it easier to open the opening and put on and remove the garment. I'm not sure if they'll break in properly, but when I walk, there's no flex at all. These are being returned due to sizing issues, and the next size will not be available due to the other problems.
I expected these to run a size larger than my regular shoe size based on the reviews I read, but that was not the case for me. While they did run a little bigger, they weren't quite a full size bigger - I have wide feet, and these were not wide enough for me. Overall, they were very warm and well-made; I just couldn't find a size that fit me properly.
Boot that is both stylish and practical. They also have a solid, solid feel to them. My impression is that they'll last a long time, as they've already been used in snow and ice, and the aggressive tread provides good traction. No leaks. br>br>They aren't cold if you're active, but I sat in 10 degree weather for an hour and my toes became cold, so I'm not sure about the temperature rating. However, there is enough room to wear a second pair of socks.
